Never really been a fan of anime, cause i've never actually seen one, wouldn't know what to look for, if you listed some, i'd be sure to have a look at them though, if they can bring out a convention like that, they must be fun :)
That video had me grinning so hard, start to finish. Mel was pretty adorable in her Katamari outfit, but I have to say my favourite part was Brett, by far.
see? at least you chose an anime that has a chance for something good to go as. My friend, lisa, got me hooked on some bizaar show called Love, Hina. needless to say, if i dressed as one of those characters, i wouldnt be quite the same.

I was Zaraki Kenpachi- a really crappy one. Not many people recognize me though-i didn't have the spiky hair.
I was hom for like...1 and half the next day...and i dressed up as something else the last day.
