u should always wear sandles...there very helpful, take em off cover the claws and then pick up...or make them hook onto ur shoe (just put them in water and shake your sandle to get the off.) btw a tip when your pulling your crab cage up,on the line u can feel a little moving and you sorta know u got something,my sister caught a eel where we were and she was like wtf??? i musta pulled up at right time, anyway the portugese family next to us ate it lol.
I used to catch blues with my bare hands when I was a kid. I'd use my toes to feel through the top layer of sand to locate where they were nesting. Sometimes I'd be in about 2 feet of water off the beach or a bit further out sometimes past a sandbar in deeper water of about 4 feet. I'd then dive down to the location my toe pinpointed and scoop them out with my hands from behind and most of the time I wouldn't get pinched. They're powerful, but very tasty.
Perfect video, you couldn't have taught it any better

@IntoEverythingMusic - You actually look for such meaningless things to spend your time on?
In the earlier days of the Internet, signing your name was a common thing. I stuck with it. Deal with it.
Not to say I'm not a dork...
