i think led zeppelin is really overrated (aka i think Page and Plant are very overrated...Bonham and JPJ carry the band IMO)...but if you listen, John Bonham paved the way for what became early hip hop drums. Shit, when I make beats I dig through led zeppelin records just for drum breaks to sample. Listen to Bonham's bass drum...if that's not hip hop I don't know what is.
