Thaksin is no more corrupt than those who have controlled Thailand for the last century. They are all corrupt. I'd rather see educational posters lining classrooms than these garbage propaganda posters of 'the family' plastered all over the place. Thailand needs run news about Thailand's plight everynioght nor the propaganda to promote the wealthiest family in the country. Help the poor and stop the propaganda. One poster for the king is one less education poster for kids.

The government claimed that there were armed 'terrerists' among the red-shirt. The casualties we have found were only bare hand people, a pragnent woman and a male nurse since April 10th. The question is " Were these casualties really terrerists?. Why there has not been soldiers lost in this Bangkok unrest?

i don't know thaksin personally--he may have a good heart, i don't know. but his way of governing was poisoning the country, and bangkok people saw what was going on (you will understand too if you do some extensive research about the things he actually did) and could no longer allow him to stay. the coup cut down the poison tree, but the roots still run deep. unfortunately money from a poisonous source is still useful to people who need it. and widespread false propaganda is hard to uproot.

the real 'behind the scenes' goal is wanting taksin back, along with his non-democratic, crooked, dictator-like ways of governing (and of course generous handouts for corrupt community leaders who have power to deceive and move the poor). the advertised goal, which is being used to drive people to push for the real goal, is "democracy"--it's ironic and sad because pretty much the only democratic thing thaksin ever did was "winning" at the ballot box.

If Thaksin is that bad or devil reborn, vote him out off office. The army has given Thaksin a lot of excuses or reasons to claim his legitimacy to claim his right of governing. I'm pitty Mr. Abhisit, a good guy who was thrown in, because no old experience ones want the hot sit. One more thing, The King and Thailand are one no doubt about that. @ILDEVOS As I said before, by removing Thaksin by coup no court in Thailand will be consider enough to charge him, since the court will be consider as army appointed justice to charge him for whatever reason. I f I put a gun on you to remove you from whatever position you hold ,and charge you of shady deal. In the eye of others what would they feel?

Do not think that I'm saying against you. From the beginning, the army should not force Mr. Thaksin out. No matter how you think he is so corrupted. In doing so, no justice court in the view of others will be given justice enought to charged Thaksin as a corruption government, since it own government arrived from illigal mean.
