When I had my VR6 I chose the Neuspeed header back as well. And man even regular slow driving...I'd sometimes shift around 3700 - 4000 rpm just to hear the exhaust note. The loss in mileage was worth it lol.

I can hit 68 MPH in 2nd gear in my 2001 Jetta VR6 with 5 speed manual just before redline. You don't have to believe me, I'm just telling you what mine does.

@veedubindahaus the 2003 came with the 24v vr6 as opposed to the 12v vr6 you have. for that upgraded engine they also swapped to the 6 speed from the 5 speed, so his shift points are shorter than yours. just fyi, both awesome models though
