How do you combat line twist with thos the link swivel was turning alot

@Gman3094 That's a test tank driven by a submersible bilge pump. Not the best example of the spinners behavior. I made this video five years ago to test my camera and new video software. I thought it was interesting, so posted it on youtube. Never thought it would get watched so much. You can worry about it, if you want, but there's no problem with line twist off a reel, the swivel's barrel cancels it.

i have one of these, a few of the beads broke and my roostertails outfish it but they are ok.

@gnomehater63 Send me a picture of it with your address and I'll replace it. Usually the metal discs do a good job and protect the glass.

You can also wrap a pipe cleaner a couple times in that gap and keep using it.

I bought one today in Pillar,NM for $4.99(rural fish,food and rafting shop)and it is the black and crome one with a crome blade.Worked good on the deep or sallow water.I took my little girl with me so i couldnt try it to its full potential,because of loud of walking,to late in the day and talking.My little girl(11 years old) caught a brown trout in the first hole in the first 10 min.She caught more fish the me with the panther martin i used.

@FishCreekSpinners Yes it was at the yacht club...Very nice people. I fish pillar all the time.from the junction bridge down.Your videos make me want to go get a few more spinners and go again. I just might.day is still young and i looks like its going to stop sprinkling rain.I actually was looking for panther martin at that shop for my girls first spinner.They were like 5.99. So i told my girl to choose any spinner she liked.She picked the nitro silver and black with a BLACK blade.
