@fallenskater52 Yeah dude, people have been mad about how it "doesn't" but they don't know where to look. On the multiplayer screen just go to server browser instead of quick match. Then from there go to filter, and choose hardcore to on. Then all you gotta do is pick a multiplayer server. Hope it helped

@blackopsgamer33 Nope, it just starts taking longer to rank up. Rank 45 gives you an eagle (the symbol for a colonel) then rank 46 gives you a golden eagle with a number 1, 47 a golden eagle with a number 2 etc. From what I've heard the highest is rank 145 (still colonel service star X)

Prestige mode is a time waster for little kids who play too much and want to flex their e-peen with silly looking rank emblems. I would rather just push myself by getting better at the game, resetting the rank grind is pointless and acting like you're better then other players for doing so is childish. It will take a very long time to get to a high rank in BF3 just like in BF2.

@Card0Sold There are 100 ranks after Colonel, and ranking will be much slower after you reach the 1st rank of Colonel. So really the BF3 equivalent of the rank Colonel in BF2 would be Colonel service star 80+. We are most likely not going to see someone at service star 100 for a very very long time. Plus DICE said it will take about 200 hours to fully unlock each kit and even longer to unlock the perks for every vehicle type. It will take at least 1000 hours if you want all the gadgets unlocked.

But anyways, you might unlock all the gadgets for each kit in a few months, but it takes a long time to get all the attachments and vehicle perks. You were talking about prestige ranks anyways, and I already told you that it will take an insanely long time to get to the max rank and get all the medals which take hundreds of hours to get.
