For all the flack Dion receives, not many vocalist can hit those notes live the way she does and make it seem effortless and still have passion like she does. I don't personally care for her, but I can tell when someone has chops, whether or not they are my own personal taste. :)

celine has a great voice even live thats one in a million and is a beautifull woman considering her age...but i think meatloafs version is a lot better more emotion..it was originally meatloafs for his bat out of hell II album but he decided he wouldn't sing it celine got it he insisted he would sing it as a duet..

Jim Steinman is a genius, and I'm very saddened by the fact that Batman never came to be. "Vespers" and "Not Allowed To Love" are both gorgeous songs that need to be heard by the world.

Cant AGREE with you more here. Not allowed to love is one of the best ballads he has ever written. Up the with Total eclipse of the heart and two of three aint bad. Vespers is always very. Jim on pioano and vocals. Awesome.

Although she is a great singer, I prefer her studio recording version to the live version. The studio version has more subtlety to the texture and dynamic, where Celine Dion excels..
