HEY! The Knight 2000 was the best smart car ever built! I prefer the Trans Am KITT over the Mustang. That's cos it was never original. It was always based on the original KITT AND the Transformers, making it unrealistic. Even a simple Turbo boost was all graphics and coloured thrusters. TRans Am was more believable.... Go original KITT and 1980s!

The kr2k was a tank and built to run through bridge pylons and stuff. The new one might have been as impervious to weapons fire, perhaps more so with its defenses, but it did not have the coated hull, just a near instant repair ability.

Actually, in a collision KI2T would win as it has that molecular bonded shell armor... KI3T doesn't have it (uses AI controlled nanomachines instead) and that's why the glass shatters a bit when it gets shot and why in the movie restarting the AI was crucial to stop the bad guys without getting crushed in the process.

Lol Knight Industries 3000 making Knight Industries 2000? lol, that would never happen, reality check shows it would be the other way around because KITT's (2000) molecular bonded shell pwns KITT's (3000) nano bot technology.

KITT 3000 DOES recieve damage but the damage gets repaired by nano bots, so I consider this to be a downgrade from the molecular bonded shell, you know? the thing that made KITT 2000 practically immune to damage.
