Helsinki Finland

Finland is OK when you talk about economy, security and welfare, but if you are talking about being happy in that country you are *******. People is cold, weather is cold, there's no sun, there are no parties, there's almost no people. I can find more inhabitants in my city than in all Finland. They should learn from South Americans, Mexicans, Central Americans, Australians, Mediterraneans, Caribbeans and Usonians. You have it all! You should be happy!

We spent 5 days in March 2011 in Helsinki. Snow & Ice everywhere but it was wonderful. The Finnish people were civilised, friendly and always ready with a smile. I learned more about Kantele which I admire very much. I hope I can return in summertime. My old legs cannot manage the icy pavements but my heart was always warm in Helsinki.

Visited very little of Helsinki...mostly hung out in Vihti with a then-ladylove from that area. But *all* of Finland is *WON-DERFUL!*

Great hotel, I used to live there a lot when I was working in Helsinki. I used to take a bus just in front of the hotel to work. :)
