@3042005casamento Not to burst your bubble but the Anglo-Portuguese Treaty was between the English and the Portuguese and actually originally hindered Scotland more than helping it :p Of course with the rise of Great Britain it also included Scotland to a certain degree.

Cape Breton guy is the lead singer. For those that don't know, Cape Breton is an island in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. If you look closely you will see a Nova Scotia flag along with a Scottish flag. Nova Scotia is Galic for New Scotland.

The Irish brought Gaelic influence to the Western Islands an the North Western coastline, but "Scotland" (which wasn't Scotland at the time)

Was made up of mainly the Pagan picts in the North and Highlands, and Angles in the south and lowlands. Also mainly vikings on the Northern tip and shetlands etc, but that may have been a little later, my knowledge is a little sketchy on that one.

I flew up from the south coast of England on the Saturday for this concert, and flew home Sunday, worth every bloody penny. Hardest rainfall recorded in the Highlands :o) I had more of Scotland in my tent (mud) than there was outside :o) Bloody fantastic. :o)

I have this dvd and noticed that in this song Bruce doesn't have his ear mics in but just noticed on this video when he does pull them out. Wonder why he took them out-maybe cause this song has such great audience participation that he wanted to really hear it?

I would expect thats what he wanted, Bruce is amazing though, they all are in their own way, truely very talented musicians.

I have had the honour of meeting them all minus Bruce at the end of the Newcastle 2002 one the Stamping Ground The Next Stage I think it was called that tour, the 2nd of the touring of the same album of course.

He's got to be my idol, trouble is I didnt really have a clue to know what to say to him though, he actually had to speak to me haha, courtesy of my father though
