When I watched this for my first time, Gackt and Hyde did a wonderful job together. I cried when Sho[Gackt] cried. I cried when Sho tried to get Kei to look at the picture of Hana. I loved the end with the one on one gun fight. I cried so much when Sho got shot and Kei came along and saw him just laying there. I thought he was dead. The whole movie was great. The action and the sad drama was amazing. Too bad Hyde wasn't around long enough to do this again

I love Orenji no Taiyou, I heard the short acoustic version first so this seemed a bit strange... but I love it! Gackt is hot. So is hyde. I love the way their voices make such perfect harmony! it makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. i love moonchild so much... it's such a sad movie. i've never seen a movie that is that sad and beautiful at the same time. and gackt and hyde where really great as kei and sho, when gackt cried in the movie i always had to cry with him. i loved that scene when sho went to see kei and showed him a pic of his daughter and kei didn't even look it was sooo sad.

I watched "Moonchild" thanks to Netflix and was surprised that I really liked it. I expected Gackt and Hyde's performance to be exceptionally bad however,Hyde did very well. Gackt was about average, but of course he has come a long way since Moonchild.  He's a perfectionist and I'm sure he's studied relentlessly since. The only criticism I can give the film it's sad from start to finish, but surprising realism in spite of vampire.

same here, it's so beautiful and the characters just sing to me in a way that is unavoidable, and it makes them so much deeper and the movie becomes that much more emotionally charged for me.

I love this song, and for the longest time after the first time i watched the movie, just this song would make me cry 'cause of the meaning it has in the story. U_U

Hmm, song is great (but then again I've always loved Gackt), and the scenes you chose are great - but I think you need to work on the arrangement of the scenes to time with the sound of the music to make a better music video. Just my opinion.

The only part of that I can bring myself to agree with is the part about the movie itself. Man I cried so hard. Really, Super Hard-core Crocodile tears, boo-hoo bawl. and I don't cry for shit. So yeah, ^_~* you could say this movie really touched me deeply. it was pretty awesome, even disregarding the presence of three highly attractive males (who are very difficult to ignore).
