  • i've never done this so do you mix the dark and lovely ingredients and then add a developer????? or do you mix just the colorant with developer?

    ????

  • yes by far the best ombre tutorial, it looked so professional at the end, and not some tacky platinum blonde, i LOVED IT!!!

  • hello thanks for video. how much was the shipping charge for the hair from genesis?

  • so this is "real hair" I would like to try on my own hair, but I'd go to a professional. the color is beautiful

  • VERY helpful , the frank ocean helps too ((:

  • I love love love this video this is the ombre effect i was looking for not to blond something natural. if i add the bleach how long do you think i should leave it on for? and do you think i can still get that look without adding the colors just beach??

  • Very helpful. Maybe the best out all of the ombre tutorials.

  • @MsIconic thanks! this comment just made my day :))))

  • I have done this with my extensions before and had a similar experience as you using developer only on the 18inches... It helps to sit the hair in front of a heater... I covered the hair in foil and sat it in front of a heater and achieved the look I wanted.

  • thankx for pisting this vid! :D

  • i want to do this but my hair is already sewn in and layered....will that have an effect on placing the color in the hair and how it comes out?

  • aye , thats my JAM in the background !

  • THIS my sonq erykah badu - didntcha know ^_^

  • what did you wash out the developer with ?

  • @khiaphierce Very informative video. The next time, what don't you just try gettin a #4 type of hair if you can so that you won't have to use the developer, which by the way what volume of developer did you use?? I tried that same method of coloring my bohyme hair and when I tried to speed up the process by using a 40 developer and puttin the hair in the oven...lol NO NO!!! it damaged the hair. And Bohyme hair is NOT cheap. But thank you for ur video.

  • How did you know how far up to go with the color? B.t.w.- Very informative video!!!

  • @InnocentBeautii thanks you! i honestly just kinda gauged it. I kind of divided it into thirds, colored the bottom third with the lightest color, colored the middle section brown, & left the top third section its natural color.

  • luv luv luv..can yu inbox me ur honest opinion on ths hair

  • very subtle but I LOVE it

  • I want to do the ombre effect on my weave but I just my tips to be a maroon or dark red and. how can I do the ombre effect with black hair at the top and brownish redish dye.

  • @MsBlack189 Thats cute! I think it would turn out nice!

  • quick question how do u think it would look is i dye the top black instead of leaving it at its natural color using the same dye u used for the middle and tips

  • cant wait to get mine:-) should be in by the end of this week! def going to color my hair like this! thsnks for the tips:-)

  • whats the song that's playing when you're putting the dye on the hair?

  • @itshannuuh instrumrntal to j.cole - 'too deep for the intro'

  • @itshannuuh the original is erykah badu

  • Thank you so much for doing these videos. My hair shipped today from gensis and you have been so informative.

  • @naturalbeauty511 you welcome & THANK YOU! I hope you enjoy the hair as much as I did. Make some videos so we can seeee :)

  • Fascinating. Coloring hair is an art. Great job!!!! LOVE the E. Badu ;)

  • @Nzurilisha Yes it is! I was so scared attempting this but I am happy about the results! Thank you :)

  • ok...wait....is that wat the volume 30 is...the bleach???sorry im tryn to learn cuz im colorin my indi remi this weekend....so do i need to purchase bleach powder??

  • @MissInde2015 yes, you may need to use the developer & the powder bleach to dye the Indi Remi because its not virgin hair so it MAY take longer. I'm not sure how well its going to take, because I've personally never done it. But I know that it is possible because my friend has done it.

  • so u didnt have to use bleach powder to lift the natural colors???

  • love this

  • @nottap21 thank you!
