There are still some puktun and other similar cultured people left in the valley. you may not have come accross them as presently, kashur is mainly used in the valley. That's because our country has been divided between india and pak and majority of hindko,hazara, shina, balti, paktun and speakers of other language are in POK(spoken up to babi-e-khayber). This is very unfortunate that our culture is under theat; as people at times tend to forget about kashmiri people in POK.

Pretty cool but this song sounds very simillar to a song that is sang by Ahmed Zahir from Afghanistan he is the Elvis of Afghanistan he himself was half Pashtun and half pashi which are very similar to Kashmiris.

My friend don't be upset. It is not Afghan. It was 1st sang by a famous Pakistani Pashto singer Nazneen Qazalbash. Only different here is associated Khattak dance presented by this group which has made it more interested. We Kashmiri are proud of belonging to the same Persian group of languages as of Pashto in subcontinent. We have similar instrument. I appreciate for these young Kashmiris creating diversification in the Kashmiri music.
