I am an American, and I am used to ten pin and candlepin. How similar is this to what I am used to, and how does one keep score? Is their frames, strikes and spares? How does it work?

@paladin313 It's not that similar to what you're used to... there are no holes in the ball you have to grab it with the full hand.Also there are only nine pins and you don't spin the ball when you throw it.. i hope i could help you.
