Bob, appreciate your vids. Go to harbor freight and get the general electric professional model multi tool. It's variable speed and does a fantastic job. The accessory blades are the least expensive. I got the half moon carbide grout blade for $12.
When cutting in a corner block like Bob showed, I use a scrap piece of wood as a guide and get a nearly perfect cut. The wood blades are offset so they ride flat against the guide making a clean straight and square cut. That same technique works great for undercutting door jams when installing new flooring.
I have this same tool. The half round blade shown in the video is for drywall plung cuts not wood. Dremel has several wood blades; a standard blade for most woods, a hardwood blade (the regular one smokes pretty bad in hardwoods and a wood/metal blade that cuts thru wood and nails and the like. I can't tell you how many times I reach for my multi-tool. It does things that are nearly impossible to do otherwise and it does them with great ease.
@binashraf I will have to let other viewers comment on this. These type tools are so new it is hard to judge good better best with-out owning one .and I don't.+++Bob
@binashraf Bosch now has an A/C version instead of the battery version. It seems much beefier than the Dremmel in my hand. I read alot of people complaining the Dremmel version overheating.
This is not a new tool. I've owned the Fein version for over 11 years (still works perfectly). The technology is from the tool used to remove casts, the tool that cuts the cast, but not your arm. I've actually used it todo that once. I guess the pattens on the tool expired so everyone is coming out with them now. A cordless version would be good to get. Bosch makes one.
i bought the multifunction oscillating tool at harbor freight today........ these things are freakin cool! I wish i would've had this thing a long time ago, i can see a lot of headaches that will be saved
Yes Sir. They Sell three scraping blades for like $5.99 a grout removing blade for $5.99 and a half moon wood cutting Blade. They are pretty sharp, I cut my thumb as I screwed in the hex screw.
I usually prefer Milliuake, Rigid,or Hitachi on all Power tools I use on a regular basis for remodeling. But on some things I use maybe once a month, like an Electric Hand Planer, I just Buy it at Harbor Freight .
Yep I got the Fein model as well and I'd say it's DEFINITELY worth the extra coin! Superior construction, very smooth and powerful motor, and a minimal about of vibration transfered back to the operator. I used it to undercut 11 doors for laminate flooring and it took under a half hour. I've also used it to cut botched crown molding in place and got a stain grade cut. Found it didn't work so good on azek though, the cut melted shut again until I modified a used blade to have coarser teeth
I just used this tool to cut vinyl siding. The cuts were perfect and fast. Besides being extremely loud, this tool is the best business investment I have ever made.
I did consider the Fein as one of my options to buy and I am sure it is more versatile than my dremmel but as I said I pick the one that suited me best Thanks for the post+++Bob
I am using the same tool on the remodel of our kitchen. It is all that is promised with one caution.
I found that the nut is wearing down from sitting on tile and concrete when used as a base trimmer. I haven't ordered a spare because I'm not using the tool on a daily basis as would a professional.
A great tool. But the Dremel, is a bit weak for hardwoods. I use a Fein, but it was 3X the cost. I did find a place that will sharpen the blades for $7 each!!!
I tried to cut my grass with this tool.. but it was more of a gym work out.. but I guess that is what happens when you don't hear the whole video and stop the vid at the end of cut your grass, going out to buy the tool :( still learning, still learning!
The cut was not straight. On paint grade this is ok. On stain and varnish then this is not acceptable. Do you like the dremel tool over the fein tool?
It was about one third of the cost and the replacement blades are much less expensive. That being said the fein tool is more heavy duty and may be more productive if you used it daily and more exclusively than I do mine+++Bob
can you sell and ship to wordwide, some BRAZIL? i will use to remove cast off. plaster cast leg and arm. i think is it possible

Thanks for the demo of the Dremel, and without being rude, it made me glad that I bought the Fein, just by hearing the motor.
It is totally up to what you can afford, and I saved for a bit to do it, but I'm glad I got what I paid for.
Thanks Bob, still a 5 star video.
