I went to a school where they were teaching sex ed to us in 6th grade. The teacher taught about regular sex, anal sex, oral sex, and even facials! He even went as far as to have us expose our genitals to him and the rest of the class for some reason. Is this wrong?

Go Planned Parenthood for wanting to lower abortion and teen pregnancy rates, which are rising, and for wanting to teach kids comprehensive sex ed that is not just abstinence only, which obviously is not working in our country with victorian views on sexuality. No one argued when the government funded MILLIONS of dollars for abstinence only education. By the way, when she quoted Planned Parenthood here is what she said "POSITIVE and pleasurable ASPECTS of sex" meaning more than STIs and fear.

Yeah we don't need to be teaching our kids the pleasure of sex to ten year olds. But schools should be teaching about contraceptives and safe sex.
But not the pleasures of it. That just seems grossly inappropriate and unneeded. All for teaching kids about STD/HIV and how to have safe sex.
Better to find out this way instead of discovering the hard way.
