This is pretty damn close to the way bar cover bands played it in the late sixties. A little TOO MUCH Doors for me, but the length and 'stretch are about right.

Funny to think those guys' parents might have been in diapers when that was being played in every rock bar coast to coast.

There is a select group of lucky people on this earth that where fortunate enough to be in the Whiskey the night both Morrison's played on stage, they played for 2 hrs and John Densmore is the only person to have a recording of it... the Bass is the best thing with this bunch..thats about it. sorry

Great job. I attended a Them concert in Honolulu in 1966 or 1967. I was also a big fan of the Doors version as well as Patti Smith's version. The music of my youth.

I call Jim Morrison verses Van Morrison a "dead heat" on the song "Gloria". But when Hurrican Gloria struck the Northeast in September 1985, they played Jim Morrison's version of "Gloria" 10 to 1 against Van Morrison's version. Dan O'Niallain, Grafton, Ma.
