The boss has about 10.000 HP. Nice. Super Sonic hit 13 times there, doing 797 damage each time. Ix barely died, making it sound like'd he have 10.000 HP. I wonder how much Super Sonic has. Probably around 15.000 or 20.000.

Another thing that would've helped this game out would've been to get rid of those stupid ass sound effects and and replaced them with some cool ones. Like.. maybe if the characters attacked, or got hit, you'd hear their actual voices instead of those retarded sounds. And especially that stupid cartoon "boing" sound when a character is KO'd. It's just so annoying.
The last boss is epic if you let the fight drag on it gets epic quick and the msic also helps just let the last boss fight keep going for like 10 turns it gets epic
In my opinion, they didn't even need to hire Bioware to help out with this game, they should of gotten the team who made Phantasy Star, THAT would have been a better game.
@Bourques If you mean the old team, they are long gone. If you mean PSO and up, well, that's Sonic team, the team that essentially makes, err... All Sonic games since 20 years ago (except for a few, like this one).
But, yeah for some reason they were much better on the dreamcast era, something must have happened. I was not a big fan of the internet in those times so if a key member left the team i never heard about it.

There is going to be a sequel to this game. Anyway i can't wait! This was the best Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2. Although i wish you could control more characters. The quest could have been longer too but still i would give this game an 8.5/10
Yes:It is a sucky ending, but to my knowledge there WILL be a sequal. also it would be pretty cool but the game is already too easy after 1st playthrough. You keep all your stats for sonic, then when you meet the others, they level up to where they were. And you get the skill points back.

I don't need strategy in an rpg. I never use it, never have, never will. And the enemies aren't harder then the bosses. They really aren't. And I don't play new dumbed down rpgs, I play multiple rpgs. And you don't compare a game to another, because it isn't that game. I'm not comparing it to Mario RPG because I beat the game once and tossed it aside, whereas this one I've played multuple times. I know we are dropping it, and its not a big deal but trust me, the voicing of the sega fans have seriously made other fans mad. The reason Shadow The Hedgehog was made was because over a million fans requested a Sonic game with sonic having guns, but sega agreed Sonic didn't need guns. I do exactly that and I lose. I can't kill him with all my attacks and when it's his turn, he regains all his strength, while I steadily lose mine. I guess my Sonic isn't strong enough or something.
Good for one playthrough. Its hard to get into the story afterwards. The game is charming at 1st but the last boss was effing easy, the cliffhanger was pretty cheap, and few besides sonic devotees will label this as a favorite game or will play it several times over

There is going to be a sequel to this game. Anyway i can't wait! This was the best Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2. Although i wish you could control more characters. The quest could have been longer too but still i would give this game an 8.5/10

Yes:It is a sucky ending, but to my knowledge there WILL be a sequal. also it would be pretty cool but the game is already too easy after 1st playthrough. You keep all your stats for sonic, then when you meet the others, they level up to where they were. And you get the skill points back.

many games ended with cliff hangers but not all of them got sequels. that is why it's always bad to end games like this because it gets people hopes up that they'll be another game. i couldn't care less if they did because i hated it but for those who did like it you guys just gotta wait and see.*don't hold your breath*

I'm just miffed about the Final boss, WTF was that, the music didn't feel like a Final Boss, and its over in less than 30 seconds, and the ending sucked, its so abrupt, the game overall isn't bad, but in the sequel they fix ALOT of things.

just because they gave it a cliff hanger ending does not guarantee there will be a sequal. if the game doesnt sell enough units, gets bad reviews or negative feedback from gamers they wont make another game. that would be bad marketing people. thats the way it works people.

Not really. It is based off of a comic I believe that was near release but never made it. I found the game enjoyable. Sonic fans always bitch about too elaborate of a story, but when it gets minimize, they complain. Honestly :/

well no surprise there that the comic never made it, it's horrible! the story is NOT elaborate at all, which is something that is acceptable in a RPG . the game is written as if it were made only for 7 year old kids so older gamers will feel like a total idiot playing it. bioware could have made this game better if they just took there time writing a more meaningful story without all the plot holes. the gameplay is also out of wack. starts off hard then easy as pie at the end? just plain lazy!

Um yes, it was written for 7 year olds. Genious. This is a starter RP. Not meant for older people, because older people, hence yourself, like things just to be all big and epic. And of course it gets easier! ALL RPS GET EASIER NEAR THE END! It is called the leveling. >> I always find rps hard at the beginning, never the end. I think perhaps you need to know the proper formula for game making. Lets see you do better -.- Imbecile

are you for real? there's little to no strategy to this game. all you do is POW moves and win! the normal enemies are harder than the bosses. (thats not even leveling my friend) mabey your playing the new dumb-down RPG's and think thats the way they're suppose to be. compare this to mario RPG. sure mario RPG was targeted towards younger gamers too but still had enough appeal for older gamers as well. bioware just wanted to make a quick buck. deep down you know this could have been better.

I don't need strategy in an rpg. I never use it, never have, never will. And the enemies aren't harder then the bosses. They really aren't. And I don't play new dumbed down rpgs, I play multiple rpgs. And you don't compare a game to another, because it isn't that game. I'm not comparing it to Mario RPG because I beat the game once and tossed it aside, whereas this one I've played multuple times. It could have been better, but for the first game for the ds portion of the company, its good :/

If you hate the game, don't bother talking about how bad it is. If people apprecitate it, don't bother making your point to them, because we will just defend them. I know we are dropping it, and its not a big deal but trust me, the voicing of the sega fans have seriously made other fans mad. The reason Shadow The Hedgehog was made was because over a million fans requested a Sonic game with sonic having guns, but sega agreed Sonic didn't need guns. The reason this game is basic is because Sega got fan letters asking for the rpg to be simplistic. Sega sent the idea to Bioware and Bioware worked for it :3 Sorry if that sounded rude XD!

I do exactly that and I lose. I can't kill him with all my attacks and when it's his turn, he regains all his strength, while I steadily lose mine. I guess my Sonic isn't strong enough or something.

Good for one playthrough. Its hard to get into the story afterwards. The game is charming at 1st but the last boss was effing easy, the cliffhanger was pretty cheap, and few besides sonic devotees will label this as a favorite game or will play it several times over

not really. it took me 2 months to beat the game. (manly because it's soo boring) i had to force myself to play this game hoping and praying that it would get better. sadly no it didn't. the more i played the worse it got. it's one of the worst RPG's i've ever played. can you believe i passed up chrono trigger for this game? (silly me)! sega leave the mascot rpg's to mario. you out of you league.
