  • Doesn't look like James Burton on the Tele, anybody know? Killer licks by this guy at a very fast tempo...

  • @Johngonefishin I was told that Joe Maphis played lead on this, before James Burton came on board. This song and Stood Up, Be Bop Baby, and Stood Up.

  • Pulp Fiction version is better, it's slower and more relaxed, has a heavier sound - mind you the quality is better for that one.

  • vean que labios que ojos!!! <3 <3

  • guapisimo!

  • Pulp Fiction

  • Great song. However, this performance is a bit tepid. I guess they had to tone it down so it wouldn't shock ma and pa in middle America! LOL.

  • five, six, come and get your kicks down at the corner of lincoln and a-forty-six

  • who came here because of the jackrabbit slims scene in pulp fiction? lol

  • I still have this...with the 'dust jacket' as a 45

  • @smr61754 i wish i knew what the episode was about i wouldve understood that...

  • I remember watching the show the night he sang this. I was only about five but my two oldest sisters acted such a fool everytime ricky got a closeup they'ed squeal and carry on. they ended up dancing with eachother in the living room floor. warm, fun memories.

  • That sound really moves....and gee, that hair is just killer!!!!! This guy was truly great!!!

  • @monarkman1957 His best productions were those, that were produced by Ozzie. Ozzie was the great one.

  • not "rap", (ha) rand b- go listen to joe turner, big mama thornton, nor james burton either- Tracy nelson (rick's daughter)

  • is that james burton on lead guitar? sure would like to see the lead guitar playing those riffs fantastic!!!!!

  • I don't believe it's James Burton as it's not his style. However, it does sound like Joe Maphis, who played on the original [and the 'A' side, 'Stood up']. Like you I would have appreciated seeing the guitarist. Bummer!

  • @skaldes Joe Maphis played lead on this tune (pre James Burton). He had a great sound.
