  • in the description stands "Bahnhof" - but in the video it is pronounced "Banhof" --- videofail!

  • How does one get server space in such a facility? In other words... Where the hell do I sign up!

  • @TheTylernator, you can get hosting here - foretag.bahnhof.se No Dr Evil stuff allowed, but Tylernator is accepted! :-)

  • Wow, what a place. Thanks for the tour.

  • Umm. Sarah?

  • Cool!! A Miix of the Batcave & James Bond Spectre base..

  • Way to let governments know how to defeat it though. Hmmm....30-40 meters of explosive penetration needed....CHECK......elevator shaft (Batman inspired)....Easy way to deliver a bomb.....CHECK.....diesel rundundancy back up power.....hmmm.....cover the exhaust?.....CHECK......leave a tray of martinis outside the door so geeky, playboy CEO drinks himself to death....PRICELESS....

  • @puffmyblunt HAHAAH .. but what about a bunch of Swedish fighters ready to beat the shit out of anyone who dares to try... CHECK.

  • @19AK91 Suuuuuure the same swedish military that kissed hitlers ass by giving him iron ore to fortify his military so he wouldnt invade them? lol@swedish military....not to mention the fact that no one on earth can stop a GPS guided bomb dropped from a B-2 bomber :/

  • @puffmyblunt I cannot comment what Swedes did back then, I'm not a Swede, but todays Sweden can be a bit different, don't you think it's possible? haha will you really send a B-2 bomber with a GPS-guided bomb to downtown Stockholm? what about the endless wikileaks mirrors? ^^ Truth to be said, B-2 is da shit! it looks scary and must cost more than all the iron ore Sweden gave to Hitler hahaha

  • @19AK91 LOL touche! B-2=2 Billion haha Well, since the U.S. invented the internet, we could just pull the plug lol Funny I'm making these arguments since I LOVE WIKILEAKS hehe meh....just put some top secret C.I.A. mind altering substance into the CEO dudes next martini and have him wipe all their servers lol

  • It's not a former military shelter but a shelter from the Stockholm fire department. Swedish military facilities are generally more secure and drilled down much further in the ground then this cave.

  • This place is all for show. Security and survivability are a joke. The front door is wide open. A tremor would send that glass conference room crashing down on top of servers. There are secure data centers out there, but this isn't one of them.

  • @te4s80txmt Well i think you talk shit cause the facility have achieved the highest security class rating there is.

  • @guuttaa Does that security class rating let you leave the front door wide open? Someone could literally walk in the front door during this filming, and walk straight to the servers. That's not security.

  • @te4s80txmt it's not just that door.. it's a couple of access controls on the way down

  • The CEO is hilarious and the facility is one of the best i have seen.

  • If that is Assanges headquarters, then my diabolical headquarters is Media Temple because it hosts my website about wikileaks.

  • Goldeneye bunker anyone?

  • swagger at 5:03

  • incredible

  • c ASS Sunstein is the FOUNDER of wikileaks-

    "the cyber 911" false flag attack. . . .

  • this wikileaks new please? wow it's cool

  • 30 meters below ground...really....look at the footage again, around the 4min40sec spot you can see several cars go past a door in background...

  • @sa94115 The peony White Mountains an upgraded version of a nuclear-safe shelters that Swedish civil defense used during the Cold War. So it's definitely blelow ground.

  • @sa94115 It's inside a big hill in central Stockholm. Over their heads they have 30 meters of rock.

  • im watching this fucking video because of WikiLeaks too. lol

  • Thumbs up if you're watching this because of WikiLeaks!

  • It's not funny. Stop laughing all the time.

  • I'm Swedish but to be honest I didn't know that a place like this existed xD I knew about the ISP and such but not that they had their data center down in a bunker like this. Very cool really. Especially with that glass bridge and conference room and everything o_O

    And yeah Wikileaks host! Woot!

  • He sounds Irish

  • Great video. Pretty amazing but the American host must tell us which mushroom he's been chewing.

  • Wikileaks HQ. Take that Amazon!

  • omg - this is the sweetest thing ive seen in a long time. and yes the CEO seems awesome.

  • "the other data centers are so borring"

  • cool, hi tech looking place. and that CEO seems like such a nice guy

  • I'd love to have my house in a place like this xD

  • Wow!

  • OMG! artificial daylight or what? howcome those plants have grown?

  • Since this is where Wikileaks is hosted, maybe we should see if it can withstand a nuke!

  • @TheKentlow Such a great idea! Let's also deport all 250K Wikileaks Facebook fans to US gas chambers! HOO_YAH! (Im being sarcastic)

  • @primummovens 250k less morons then. Though, in the coming storm 250k will be a rather small death toll.

Funny also how wikileaks always leaks "evil American"(tm) stuff, but never Chinese or Russian secrets. Strange... They're most likely too dumb to get their hands on any of that, cause Chinese and Russians actually take care of their secrets, unlike Team Zero in DC.

  • wikileaks[dot]org will go there ?

  • Verdens sejeste datacenter!

  • amazing!

  • wikileaks-com-br HELPING ASSANGE to fight Brazilian CORRUPTION. LEAK BRAZIL, LEAK

  • Wikileaks home base now

  • Cool.

Thumbs up for the Bahnhof CEO! ;)

  • Now I know where to put my backups :p

  • WANT!

  • swedish people are so cool

  • I love that German Horn.

  • best data center i've seen !

  • 30 meters "deep" but you can see cars driving past the door at the end of the hallway...

  • @captainLAGER Probably because the entrance is built into the side of the rock, I think there's a lot of bedrock still above them though.

  • And people wonder why Bahnof is my choice of ISP lol xD

  • OH MY GOD. glass bridge reminds me of Mirror's Edge. that is awesome.

  • OMG; That is SOOOOO cool!

  • That's where they build them Assange Nexus 6 guys.

  • Far be it from me to dampen enthusiasm, but the cameraman needs to curb that shit... He laughs wayyyyy too much. That dude laughs so much during this video that I felt awkward about it at home, alone, just me; listening to this guy laugh. Weird.

  • There's a road from Santa Clara to Stockholm? Lolwut?

  • It is very interesting data center!

  • hui really need somebody to Well yah should find out

  • Would be cooler if the glass was one-way in the glass room, so nobody below you could see in.

  • You damn right James fucking Bond better watch out!

  • Visited a friend who works there, once. It's even more impressive when you're there in person.

  • awsome datacenter :D !

  • Breathtaking... I would have LOVED to be there and meet the CEO! He seems like a great guy

  • It's the best broadband operator in Sweden1

They also got the coolest office..

I've never seen something like this O:

  • Anyone else who thinking of X-MEN at 5:46, Eric/Magnetos prison?

  • @bagheera79 That crossed my mind too.

  • I like the office. It looks like a green house. I also like the conference room, where all the glass is.

  • coolt

  • Very Cool! Would like to see in person.

  • It's no datacenter, they're growing weed securely

  • Great job Dean, really well done and fun to watch

  • Holy Jesus

  • Helvíti töff sko :c)

  • The CEO seems like such a cool guy!

  • He is!

He is also almost a role model for all the millions of pirates we have in Sweden.

  • awesome

  • Fasiken vad coolt!

  • Fantastic =D

  • This datacentre is epic.

    The flim is pants :-(

  • epic

  • Really cool and all. I personally would probably go crazy without having a window to look out through. :)

  • Loved the video. Some people on youtube just love criticizing everything. To you, I say make something better, or shut up.

To the guy who made this video, thanks for showing us. I enjoyed it.

  • this is epic

  • Great video, but you guys need to work on your lighting a bit. :-)

  • I have been there.. there is enoght lighting, its just video that seems to be dark

  • Whaoh!! That had a lot of cool stuff! It was pretty interesting as well. :) Keep them coming! :)

  • This is gotat be one of the coolest places on earth. The company I work for (and administer) have all their servers located here.

  • It needs a map of the world on a wall, and the Dr Evil chair.

  • fan vad ballt :P

  • Very nice!!! Data centers are noisy places, I was surprised to be able to hear them on the floor at all. Good job, and thanks for the look inside!

  • Cool video. I agree that Mr. Karlung was difficult to understand, certainly in the last part with all the servers humming around. But I'd rather have a vid with not-so-perfect audio than no vid at all.

I like his company already, being a huge James Bond fan :-) Now let's see what can I do to get me a breakfast invitation to that floating glass conference room ...

  • Just awsome, thanks!

  • Oh wow when I saw that glass bridge to the conference room I totally lost it.

  • nice first episode, i guess. but you need a better, external mic for that camcorder, 'coz trying to hear karlung's voice from even just 2-3 meters away was damned hard.

  • yeah well be happy that we even have the chance to see a vid from the Bahnhof datacenter. :)

  • so constructive criticism is not eligible or justified just because we should feel lucky to have seen video from this place, and thus keep quiet instead of giving positive pointers on how to improve? what kind of logic behind a reply is that? :D

  • yeah but you havent said much positive stuff here.

"nice first episode, i guess." you guess? its not even thefirst episode.

sorry if i dont find all this all positive.. dont take me wrong, im not trying to be an ass.

  • But you certainly are succeeding at being an ass.

  • hugs N kisses then mr grumpy!
