  • HAHAH SWEET POTATUH

  • Einstein always makes me smile! I love around :57~:58 "they're gooood!{that's what I heard anywayLOLOLO!!}~~"Merry Corn, Einstein!!"<3Noni

  • 0:49 is totally Herbert the pedophile from Family Guy

  • my sister have ha bird its a smal green and red. and she cant talk only shouting. and it is only me and my sister she dont hate. and she is very jealous.on every one and everything. like right now she sits on my hand and she is really angry for the computer gets more attention than she. hehe

sorry for my spelling. I´m swedish ^^

  • hahaha i wish to woke up and she is like ''GOOD MORNING''

  • @LouisLambert lol so its not just me! i think its the evil looking expression. its like a "why hello little girl do you want some candy?" expression XDXD

  • a question like the outside one--

can you take her outside like on a leash so she can hop around but not get away or do they not make bird leashes? (I've seen cats on leashes so idk lol)

  • @AhiruPrincesstutuFTW They do make leashes for birds. Search: "Aviator Bird Harness & Parrot Leash" Some birds tolerate them, however Einstein hated it so we never leash trained her. We always take he out side in a travel cage. Read some of her blog posts and you'll see.

  • @4zebird every bird i had could be on our shoulder or bike handle and travel around.wed went to the boneville vdam with them last time i remember

  • LMFAO!!! Is she saying "want a grape?" in one part??

  • That Bird fucking rules!

  • thats so good! awesome vid!

  • This scares the hell out of me for some reason I can't quite place.

  • I bet this bird lives in the south - she's eatin' sweet potatoes and cornbread!

  • I FREAKIN LOVE EINSTEIN!!!!

  • @littlelauren971 me too!

  • Eienstein: i had a bad expierence at camp as a kid. Me: oh no we were just listening to the radio they were talking about....... crazy stuff

  • A question -- does she know she is a BIRD? Or she thought she's just another human. How does she interact with other parrot that doesn't speak a word?

  • @TheTV1234 Unfortunately I can't ask Einstein if she knows she is a bird. I assume she knows, I have no way of knowing what goes on in her brain. She has only been with one other African Grey. That parrot talked very little, Einstein just acted like her normal self. She was aware of the other bird, but didn't know it well enough to interact with it. Birds are not like dogs, they don't "greet" one another like dogs do.

  • @TheTV1234 I thought that all talking birds just think of talking as a 'trained skill'. Like a dog who jumps through hoops. So if she did interact with another parrot, they would just interact like parrots...

  • HEY!!! got any GRAPES?

  • @cherry35416 No. But I have some refreshing lemonade!

  • Awwww I Want To Cuddle Her So Much! So Cute And Smart!

  • Mm I'm coming over there if the birds cooking lolzzzys!

  • Thumbs up if you ROFL'd when she said "wanna cookie?"

  • birds have the mind of a5yr old

  • I simply love this...the accent. It is priceless!

  • I have my doubts as to whether this is really the parrot talking.

  • "there goood" lol

  • just out of curiosity when u dont want the bird to talk, like when u wanna sleep, what do u do to shut the thing up??

  • @99lifeismusic Well, you can't. During the day if I want to take a nap and she is talking... I don't get to take a nap. At night while watching TV, she will often talk and we don't hear the TV program. This is what living with a parrot is like. However, at night, when the lights are out and we go to bed, she is quiet. That is their instinct. However, at the crack of dawn... we hear, "Good Morning!"

  • @4zebird: you probably never need an alarm clock in the morning, lol

  • At the end when he says goodbye he sounds like Herbert off family guy!

  • had to laugh so bad when the bird said " Want a cookie?" xD

  • haha! omg this is amazing how did you teach her all these words? :D

  • I was just wondering, is Einstein an inside bird or is she ever allowed outside to play? Or would this be too risky?

  • @Aussiegirl265 She's an inside bird. She does go outside occasionally in nice weather in her travel cage. It is VERY RISKY to have her (or any pet bird) outside without being in a cage.

  • @4zebird That's probably a very good idea. We used to take our galah parrot to the beach with us and he was let outside quite a bit (with wings clipped). But then one day a strong wind came up and he was taken with it. I now wish we'd kept a closer eye on him :(

  • I love her whisky voice!

  • happy taking bird :)

  • Sounds like Big Bird sometimes... 8D

  • It's interesting that you can hear that Einstein lives with a man and a woman, because she says things in different voices, according to who she's imitating.

From watching other parrot videos, I see that you have to be careful in speaking to your bird. Asking if it "wants" something before you give it will teach the bird to say this phrase. If I was ever to do this, I'd try to just say the name of the food by itself when offering it.

  • @hebneh Glad you enjoy Einstein's videos. We actually do both. We tell her what it is and asks her if she wants it. She decides what see wants to say and when to say it.

  • (my last post continued).. but right now I have two parakeets, one male, one female, and that's all the birds I have. But I was also wondering if my cat could kill an african grey. yes I'll do my best to try to keep the cat away, I just didn't know whether it could kill such a big smart bird. Also, I'm just so excited and determined to get one and train one properly. :)

  • @wantanafricangrey Cats transmit a bacterium called pasteurella with their bites or scratches. In birds, this causes Pasteurella septicemia, which means death within 24 hours if not treated by an Avian Vet. I personally would not have a cat. It's just too dangerous. I understand your excitement, but right now might not be the right time for an African Grey in your life.

  • @4zebird :O wow i never knew about the pasteurella thing! but I just don't know what to do because there's this woman who is selling african greys, hand-fed, hand-raised, she says they're good with dogs and cats, they're loving, she has a male and a female but i'll only get one, they're micro-chipped, comes with a cage, and playing toys, she'll email us photos of them, and they already talk and sing. O_o lol right now we're like exchanging emails to her. thank you for your info/knowledge :)

  • right after I discovered Einstein's videos, I totally got addicted to african greys, and i really want one, (like my username says). I researched them as much as i could to learn all about how to take care of them, and how time-consuming it is. But I still just tell myself I can do it, I want one so badly and I know it could be a great addition to our family, so I'm totally bugging my parents to get me one for christmas. :D They just fascinate me how intelligent they are. Should I really get 1?

  • @wantanafricangrey I appreciate your love for companion parrots. I have to be honest with you. It sounds as if you might still be in school. If so, getting a parrot like an African Grey, is not the best decision right now. Who will take care of it and train it while you go to school? These parrots need a lot of attention & companionship. It is like raising a human baby and having a 2 year old for the rest of your life. They are messy, expensive, demanding and time consuming.

  • @4zebird yes i'm still in school :( sadly

  • Is she your first bird? because i want to get one so what do you think would be a good starting bird

  • So cute !!!!

  • So far, I have learned throughout the videos that Einstein LOVES corn, haha x]

  • Your bird's accent seems familiar, I can't quite figure it out but I'm sure you're not from the west or south

first guess, eastern seaboard, second guess, midwest

  • @kozmon0t If you visit her website you will see that she is all TEXAN!!! einsteinparrot (dot)com

  • Einstien was on TV here a moment ago !

  • This Parrot is so cute!

  • Cookies for dinner? I want that!

  • This reminds me of my Cockatiel when he's left alone. He'll entertain himself by chuckling and telling himself that "he's a good bird". :)

  • Lmao

  • I love the way that he (or possibly she) said corn bread <3

  • And when's the last time you saw / heard a talking bird? And Einstein talks about a lot more than that. I suggest you watch her other videos.

  • i love this PARROT And i love how he makes his eating sounds

  • MY birds eat what we eat and only a little seed mix. They love fruit, vegies, cooked or not, hard boiled eggs, tuna, chicken, NO AVOCADOS! NONE, ZIP, NADA! I heard those were very bad for birds. Crackers, baked sweet and regular potatoes, etc.

  • I miss my little Poopertail birdPopeye so much.

  • all it does is talkin about corn and fuckin cornbread..

  • it sounds like Herbert from Family Guy

  • all my parrot does is dance and make chicken noises

  • Sweet potato for the win!

  • 0:32 :\ sounded like she said Cock bread... -sniffles

  • want some corn sweet potatoe wanna grape

  • haha lol

  • haha lol wanna cookie cookie?

  • Why was there a hand right under him

  • i recently bought a bird and it does NORTHING! amazon parrot age 3 name jack

he only squaks when he hears einstien

  • i recently bought a bird and it does NORTHING! amazon parrot age 3 name jack

  • Wanting: This is a pedophile bird

  • I always thought grapes were bad for birds (or maybe its raisins) If I am wrong let me know because my amazonian always begs for grapes..

I love einstein btw..one of the coolest birds ever, She has a shining personality! what a sweet feathered being!

  • @1BattleAngel Grapes are fine, just not too many because of the high sugar content and low nutrition. Please only organic grapes! The pesticides uses on conventional grapes are very toxic and even when washed can be deadly to a parrot.

  • @4zebird thank you for responding! my parrot thanks you too he loves grapes! Oh and I never feed my bird anything BUT organic fruit. I only buy organic for myself as well. Cheers!

  • @1BattleAngel YAY!!! It's Good!!!

  • @1BattleAngel you can wash grapes in a light vinegar/ water mix, and peel the skin. Organic is best, but can be expensive.

  • @1BattleAngel its dogs that cant eat raisins an grapes

  • it's goooood lol

I love that subtle voice greys have. I have one named Uno that doesn't talk quite so much as Einstein. Wish he did.

  • 0:55 (:

  • He even goes thru the motions of being given pieces of food, simply an amazing bird and I watch him every day. In Einstein's case, reruns are NEVER boring. Thank you for sharing this amazing bird with us!

  • thats really cool , what kind of bird is that and is it difficult to teach it how to talk or do you just say things over and over again to it

  • I.....like.....CERIAL!

  • I was thinking of buying a baby african grey

  • I want eggs with this parrot

  • LMFAO

She's like "want a grape? want a grape? HAVE A GOD DAMN GRAPE."

  • I would LOOOOVVVEEE to have a bird like this, but it's such a huge commitment! having a 2 year old for the rest of it's life! I think I'll bask in the glory of adoring your videos instead! I give you super props for being a good birdie parent to Einstein!

  • Wow!

  • i'm gonna have nightmares about that bird XD

  • eat s'more. wanna grape? wanna grape?? WANNA GRAPE?!?

  • I watch einstein on youtube almost every day! she's amazing!

  • Einstein must be a human in a parrot's body. :D

  • you better answer her... do you want a grape or cookie? lol

  • Comment removed

  • I LOVE her!! My little quaker also talks all the time but Einstein's voice is much more human sounding. Precious!

  • I love when she says "sweet potato"

  • Lol "Wanna grape? Wanna grape? Wanna grape? How bout a apple? Wanna cookie? Wanna cookie? .... Wanna treat? Wanna grape? Bye bye! See ya later! Bye bye!" LOL I can see you guys getting pissed off when she's in one of her non-stop talking moods but it is adorable for a not-all-the-time thing. I just see how it could get VERY annoying VERY fast!!!

  • It's amazing that she gets both human's voices right. She speaks in both a man's and a woman's voice, and she even gets the southern accent.

  • "Wanna grape?" LOL!!!!

  • Why does this make me laugh? IT IS THE FUNNIEST THIN I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!

  • what do you feed Einstein pellets or bird food mix

  • Hi Einstein , my name is chona, i've watch all of your videos, youre amazing..I love you.. :)

  • is she loud and is her cage hard to clean i want a bird so bad but

  • Having a parrot is like having a 2 year old for the rest of your life. They are loud, they are messy, and they require nuturing & companionship.

  • greys are an individual just like we are. some loud some quiet! my annie is very quiet til she gets on a roll then its her whistles, and talking etc once in a while she will get loud when i am on the fone cause i am not focused on her! they require alot of work to talk, alot of work on the proper diet of fruits and vegies and a pelleted diet. but the JOY and love they give to you once bonded is for life! everything is on their terms! you cannot force a grey! they choose us we dont choose them!

  • @4zebird ya but Einstein can talk more than a two year old and fits in smaller spaces

  • darn it.. :D she makes me hungy! xD

  • that's awesome!!

  • Her voice sounds JUST like Granny from Squidbillies.

  • Wrong bird.

" (This is not the famous "Einstein" that was featured on the TV show Animal Planet Pet Stars. The only things they have in common is the name, good looks, and the desire to entertain humans!) "

I read descriptions before I watch videos.
