We cannot all hate the rich, most of them worked hard for thair money, and their taxes support the infrastructure of American slacker life, as well as provide jobs to those that actually want to make a profit, and giving to charity. But maybe we have spent 2 thousand years in which rich people were demonized into fat cats. And that is not true.

The fact that this guy has a show on television tells me the U.S. is in big trouble. The wealthiest Americans he was referring to pay less taxes than the middle and lower income citizens by percentage. If there was a flat tax in place where everyone payed the same percent then the government wouldn't lose revenues from the wealthiest citizens who lost some money. If you had 20 billion and now only have ten, you still have the same net worth of about 10,000 middle class tax payers.

Cuba used to be a prosperous nation before it spread the wealth. Zimbabwe used to be the breadbasket of Africa before it decided to spread the wealth.

Your facts are wrong.

The top 1% of income earners own 22% of the country's wealth, but pay 40% of the federal income taxes.

The bottom 50% of income earners own 13% of the country's wealth, but pay just 3% of the federal income taxes.

The system is slanted towards the "poor." Of course, even the poorest Americans are rich compared to people in most countries.

And why is that? Because we are a rich country. And why are we a rich country? Because we are a CAPITALIST country.
