I always wondered why the supporting actors never got named in the credits...there were so many fine actors...let's see (I'm not looking their names up)...Bud Jamison...Symona Boniface...Kenneth MacDonald...and of course the beautiful Christina MacIntyre...Wikipedia has some info on these and other actors, about the only place I have ever found much on them at all. One supporting actor, I can't recall his name, died in combat in WWII...

I think the guy you're thinking of (who died in a plane in the war) was Richard Fisk, who is the guy who gets pie-faced at the end of this episode ("You tramps! Get out!). I saw mention of it on the pages of this post.

@mulehead126 You are exactly right, that's his name! He was also the one who was the sergeant giving bayonet instruction when the Stooges were hiding in those canvas duffel-bag type targets. I don't know her name but the fat woman was great too...she was in another classic that had a pie fight when the Stooges inherited the ladie's boutique..."I think I'd look stunning in that riding habit"...Curly replies "I think they'd have trouble telling which one was the horse!".
