  • Swag

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Overlaying stale NWOBHM structures with hurdy-gurdy and tin whistle noodling does not do justice to Ancient European culture. In fact, it insults it. Ditch this racist caricature and stick with the original Burzum records. Eerie, low-fi noise drenched in rustic ambience from the woods... made by a true upholder of the white race... what more could you want?

  • Which song is it at 4:00 ?

  • I didnt find any metal here, did u? lets just call stuff like this for pagan music and not metal, Anvil is metal... this however is pagan... and nothing more.

  • @Corpzmaker91 Metal is a very, very broad genre, containing many, many sub-genres.

  • @Corpzmaker91 Pagan is part of metal family nub ...... thats why its call PAGAN METAL :) its one big happy family so STFU and listen :D

  • @juniorek666 pagan is not a part of metal, Pagan METAL however, is a part of metal, but i'd like to actually hear the guitars in a metal song, or else it becomes something else...

  • @juniorek666 I get Irish Metal out of the Bodhra'n in a pub every Thursday

  • @wingeddagger22

soo now u have to tell me where are u from and w ll get some beer in this pub m8 :D

  • @Corpzmaker91 care... it sounds great

  • i have irish blood in me proud

  • Well, most part is English - so it's not Celtic, and closer to the end there is Russian text, about that "ravens and storms rushed under the treacherous Moon and we didn't count fallen foes at the snowy shores" - also not Celtic. Still it sounds epic and heroic and pagan... what else you need? I like it =)

  • Muito Foda !!!

  • Not a fan of this...

  • garbage

  • @flippaton of course, ignore the fact that a song about the Celtic culture, only to be melodic it must be a nerd?, rpg was inspired by old themes, not the other way, go back to its Pokeball.

  • I like this photo 2:55

  • This some epic shit .

  • Sounds very medival, I like it!

  • I've always interested in Celtic, Nordic and ancient tribes way of lives. I am Hungarian and my ancestors were nomadic people, with an enormous heritage just like the Celts and the Nordic people. I hope I'll get the option to visit Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Scandinavia. I respect these cultures so much! Sadly I see that most of the nowadays people actually don't really give a crap about it... they don't know what they miss. These cultures and this music is absolutely phenomenal!

  • @DanielVonPalota Tell me about it. I'm American born and am completely fascinated with my Celtic and Native American heritage. Nowadays, its all about here, now, instantaneous gratification, and f**k anything else. Live once, live hard, and who cares where we came from. Its saddening. Soooooooooooooooo much to be learned!

  • @DanielVonPalota hungary? you mean mongolian tribes?

  • @lacomaco1

They were not Mongolians, but had a lot of similarity, they are called "Magyars". Some say related to the Huns.

  • @belzebul As he said, magyars are different from mongolians. I am hungarian (magyar) too, and in the beginnings, the people of my ancestors were used as mercenaries of the Byzantine Empire, and many other countries. Our (or their - there are no clear blooded hungarians nowadays) tribes used the hit-and-run tactic, combined with a trap that meant the end of many enemies. Legends say, that seven tribes arrived into the territory of today's Hungary, the eighth missed somewhere east.

  • joer,ke caña!!güeno!!

  • I'm not completely sure, but I'm pretty sure at least some of the lyrics in English. I wouldn't be surprised if they threw in some of a celtic language like Welsh or Irish.

  • the smallpipe melody is great... do someone know if they use real smallpipes for this track?

  • This is so cool especially since I'm from Cape Breton which is a Canadian Celtic community. Lol we have the world's biggest fiddle.

  • @haha0723 wish i lived there...all i have is lame hipster soft rock people....and shit tonees of people who want to ''save my soul''.......moar metal and celtic pls

  • The end is the best...

  • like.:)))from where are u ?:))

  • I hate her vocals and it's such a shame because the music is so damn good... guys, ditch the bitch and just play the music!

  • @AdoreYouInAshXI according to Wikipedia, from 2009 she is no longer part of the band :)

  • @AdoreYouInAshXI she is a bitch just because u don't like her voice? Do u even know what "bitch" means?

  • @LxP1992 Of course I know what bitch mean you idiot. Do you know what a sensitive vagina means? Big deal, I called her a bitch. Get over it.

  • @AdoreYouInAshXI i hope u know what that word means greedy little bastard u must be. don't be scared i will get over it, it just provides me ur evanescent low intelligence to call someone a bitch just because u don't like her voice.

  • @LxP1992 Learn to speak proper English before you try to make a valid point lest you look like an ignorant fool, oops to late. Why do you even care what I called her? It was a figure of speech, you should try to work on not being a sensitive little BITCH, that and your English.

  • @AdoreYouInAshXI So please tell me where i made some mistakes?! I am sorry but english isn't my native language. if it pleased you, i can answer in german, french, finnish or luxembourgish. and i guess you can speak all those languages perfectly right? So keep on calling me a bitch just because one of my 5 languages isn't completely perfect. But hey I should be thankful, now i've learned a new figure of speech :))

  • @LxP1992 No, I can't speak those languages but you don't see my trying to insult people who speak them in their own language either. It makes you look like an ass. Like I said before, I called her a bitch, get over it. If something like that bothers you, your sensitive little ass doesn't need to be on youtube at all.

  • @AdoreYouInAshXI Idon't think it makes one look stupid when one can speak more languages, even if not perfectly. so you shouldn't judge about others when u just speak one single language. And as I said, i just thank u for teaching me a new figure of speech :) i didn't know that one before, maybe i should apologize for that fact^^

Although I'm not one, why shouldn't "sensitive little bitches" (is that also a figure of speech? seems so...) be on youtube?

  • @LxP1992 I didn't say you look stupid for speaking other languages, I said you look stupid trying to insult someone in a language you don't speak very well.. which you speak english pretty good. I said sensitive people shouldn't be on youtube, because if you are offended by me calling this singer a bitch, there is a lot more things on youtube that will offend you.

  • @AdoreYouInAshXI I'm not offended because u called her a bitch dude.. I just don't understand what's the reason to call someone a bitch just because one doesn't like his voice. I don't know, maybe in USA u use taht word for diffrent things then we do here, as u said, figure of speech.Okay I can't really judge about this. but I don't think that my english really is so bad..

  • it was tight untill she started singing...

  • very nice indeed :)

  • I had no idea this genre of music existed, but it fuckin rocks

  • celtic slavs? lol

  • @Errvald historical tradition maintains that the peoples of the north sea coastal regions in slavic areas such as russia are descended from viking seafarers who settled there in the middle ages.

  • @Mellowman8908 Indeed some Scandinavians had intermixed with Slavs but not the whole Russia. Don't base your story on the name. And again, what's Vikings gotta do with Celtic culture? Vikings were a Germanic people. I doubt you'll find any similarities between Irish culture and Slavic.

  • @Errvald many russians were vikings too. nowgorod this city in russia was built by vikings.

  • @Stormraider1000 Some of them might've been, yes. But Celts were not Germans. Vikings were Scandinavians = Germans.

  • @Errvald celts were not vikings thats true they were britains and comes from austria or french switzerland too or maybe from spain.

  • oo! Nice

  • Co za asy

  • we are waiting you in bucharest-romania. you have great songs.

  • @aquillaady Cheers, that they do mate.

  • I'm glad I don't understand the language! Lets me concentrate more on the music! Specially the bagpipes! \m/

  • BRAVOOOOOO !!!!

  • The song is called "Dance Of Druids" Thumbs up so people know! \m/

  • @FolkMetalManiac Hell yes we deserve songs for our dances ;)

im an outcast for loving this kind of music!

  • @unitard08 me too! i live in texas, so im one in a million who likes this.

  • @chuy0000 You're not alone. I live in Texas, too, and just now found this band following a link from Korpiklaani's "Keep on Galloping" video. Two of my favorite genres, Celtic and metal...and I've been listening to folk metal for a while now, love it.

  • @shiroskunkwolfe ah! what city in texas u live in? me el paso, where good music is not known at all. people here dont even listen to hanna montana, thats how sad this city is. trying to move to Austin, one of the capitals in the music scene. i love celtic music, and im mexican. is like william wallace liking mariachi lol

  • @chuy0000 I'm cuban, Imagine how rare it is to find a Cuban that likes metal. Now Imagine how hard it would be to find a cuban that likes FOLK metal...yeah

  • @ForsakenThirteen How about a Puerto Rican who likes folk metal? >:D

  • @Eeekxx 0.0 you win

  • @ForsakenThirteen

cool, but ur from the states? that doesnt count :D

  • @TheAnGerman -_-, I was born in Cuba, lived there for a decade, then my family moved. I knew of this music ever since I lived in Cuba though, and I liked it!

  • @ForsakenThirteen Back in the 80s and early 90s, talk shows would often feature these "Natzi skins" or white supremist skinheads. So, the public would identify any skinhead as a white racist. Mean while, there was a place in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY, called Castle Hieghts where extreme Metal and Hardcore bands played and.90+% of the Metal Heads and Skins South American decent. I being white, was a minority. I thought it was pretty cool seeing other race's into the music.

  • @ccatdaddy64 + look up SHARP too, skins against racism and prejudice

  • @ForsakenThirteen I'm black and I've been listening to stuff like this since I was in the fifth grade. 8D I'm 16 now....

  • @ForsakenThirteen Lol dude i can top that, Im Half Argentinian and Half Puerto Rican

  • @kjrody21 I can top that too, I'm a Srilankan Female!! the only headbanger in the family!! :D I'm not trying to be cool or something, I'm just PROUD of it !! :') *sniff sniff* \m/

  • @MetalRules4Life1000 who would'nt be Lol

  • @kjrody21 Everyone would be!! except my family of course D:

  • @MetalRules4Life1000 marry me :Đ

  • @gadianius1 ahah! Sure~ :D :D :3 ! But we must call our children Per yngve ohlin and Varg Vikernes ! ;) ahahhaahhaha :P

  • @MetalRules4Life1000 it will look cool od ID XD

  • @MetalRules4Life1000 \m/ from Switzerland! Keep it LOUD!

  • @MetalRules4Life1000 Metal is simply a part of human nature.

METAL FOR ALL ROCK THE FUCK ON!!!!

  • @MetalRules4Life1000 headbangs with ya

  • @TheAmbiorixXx :D Gladly!

  • @MetalRules4Life1000 don't listen what the others say, you are what you are... \,,/ KEEP IT METAL \,,/

  • @MetalRules4Life1000 lol! Your freaking awesome. I hate it here in america. Everyones into that nasty screamo bull. How I long to meet someone who listens to beautiful, amazing folk metal.

  • @MetalRules4Life1000 Me too although my mother listens to classic rock

but metal is not the only form of music I like

  • @kjrody21 I'm European, and I don't give a fuck. Good music is good music. Quit trying to hip it up and be the one with the most exotic taste.

  • @ForsakenThirteen Hate to burst your bubble pero...muchos Cubanos le gustan el Metal. Come to Miami,FL and see for yourself. I'm also part Cuban and love folk metal.

And doesn't Miami have like... 1 rock station, one 80's station and 20 reggaeton stations? At least that's all I hear when I go to Miami >.<

  • @ForsakenThirteen Haha that's great dude. I didn't really think about but yeah, even though I'm American my ancestry is Cuban/Nicaraguan/Spanish. What are the fucking odds?

  • @ForsakenThirteen . hi i also like folkmetal, bands like finntroll-svartby- troll gnet el-alkonost.. and now i am looking for cd's from the band gnosis, from equador. there is 1 song on u tube. anyone ? please let me know. bye.

  • @bitburgervn Try a band called "Elvenking" They're pretty good if you ask me. :)

  • @ForsakenThirteen I thought it was hard enough to find a cuban with internet:S didnt u guys get mobilephones 4 years ago or something?

  • @turbonorsking shut uuuup.... it was 6 and a half, learn your Cuban history :s

    Nah, but seriously.

I live in the states, but I still consider myself a Cuban, and at the same time an American... Y'know... since i was raised in Cuba.

  • @ForsakenThirteen totally get it, If I move to china, Im still a Norwegian(: always important to stay proud of your homecountry, bro

  • @turbonorsking Yes. But at the same time embracing the country that welcomed me.

If I moved to Norway I'd consider myself Cuban and Norwegian. I still say it's rare ot find a cuban that likes folk metal because I grew up in Cuba and still live in a Cuban community, so I'm not really affected by a lot of American influences. I was born with a liking for this music, I didn't acquire it when I came to the States. Still, a lot of people think it "doesn't count"
