  • His real name...Eddie Mahoney...ex-NYPD

  • I've been looking for this tune for 32 years. Thank you for posting this.

  • This was quite a big hit... not as universally played at the same time as "Take Me Home Tonight", but this was QUITE popular in both Seattle and Vancouver...

  • maybe I"m A fool but Ilike this song

  • @whichever4 or you could buy the c.d with this song which is the proper and legal way.

  • yeah i like dis one from him "shakin" too first time iheard dis one was a oldies station i think n liked it first time i heard him come sensual n funky knew it was from da 70's though

  • killer tune.......

  • Great song, don't know why this song had to fell into obscurity when "Baby Hold On" still gets major airplay on the lite rock and classic rock stations

  • Can't believe this was posted...thanks so much. Literally the last time I heard this song was either '78 or '79. Strangely I remember ever word.

  • @miketheblueeagle. Thanks alot for making this available. I'm a big Eddie fan. With that said, I only know his 2 biggest albums (self-titled and No Conrol). I don't care too much for his later more pop sound but, this sounds more like his first album which I love. 'Been planning on buying his second and third for a while now so it was great to get a preview. Great song. - Thanks

  • Can't say I remember this song, but I just came across it a few days ago. Pretty nice! I didn't know Eddie Money was so soulful. But then again, he did come up in his youth during the height of the Motown era.

  • Hit #22 in Billboard. God bless!

  • its ben forever since i ve heard this song. Talk about a burried classic

  • how old was he?

  • he was born in'49, he was 29 when this was recorded

  • youre exactly right. Late 1978.

  • I'm trolling through all this Eddie stuff this morning...this is my favorite song of his. Thanks, Mike.

  • i like the rock-jazz-r&b fusion feel of it.

  • Thanks so much for this great tune todays music cant compare to the 70s sound.

  • great song, thanks for posting !

  • no problem and yeah totally agree it's a great song, would you be kind enough to subscribe please?

  • No prob! He's still hot!

  • I first heard this song on SIRIUS with a rewind from Casey Kasem's Top 40. Great sound. I saw Eddie in concert last Summer (2008)... he did not sing this song.... ha. Wish he did though.

  • I got this record in '78, and I could not b'lieve it he did this song at DTE energy music theatre on Aug 29th,2009. I have seen him 2 other times in the last 20 yrs., which he did not . My wife and I thought that was so cool to finally hear his other hits

  • Was wondering how the crowd reacted to Eddie singing that song at the DTE?

  • I saw the big screens & the crowd in the pavilion was dancing & singing. We were on the hill and loving the night...

  • 懐かしいぜ GREAT!

  • No stations fool with this one any more-70s get no respect!!

  • It takes about two or three plays for me to warm up to this great sounding oldie, but it never takes long to realize why I loved this song when it came out. I remember all the girls loved this cat in his day.

  • very rare tune.thanks for posting it.
