Eddie's playing is INCREDIBLE HERE.... wow the zone! The band actually sounded fresh here - really wish they would have gone another LP w/ Gary to see what else could come out. Great performance!!!
People that say Gary was no good or didnt fit only said it cuz the critics were saying it and many others were saying it. Gary sounded good on everything he did just like he did with Extreme. He was doing what he always did which was rock with a lot of passion. He never "tried to hard" or any of that crap. Man Gary's style just does not work with Vh. Very Freddie Mercury ish...His dancing and weird grabbing himself comes off horrible. Can't say enough how great Eddie played on this tour...Fucking raw! His tone was fantastic.

Definately gave them a fresher sound after all those years with Sam. I prefer the Dave era, and Sam was fine, but he got a little monotonous after a while. Gary was definately a move in a new direction and I think given aother record might've changed everyone's mind after the less than stellar III album. I loved "Once".

He had his own voice but if you listen close he has some of ROTH & some of HAGGAR in his voice. I love VH III and met Cherone once, had him sign my copy and told him not to listen to anyone, that it's a fantastic album. Wish they kept him...
Altough I didn't liked the Album with Cherone I have to admit that he does a good job here,respect.But Eddie,the intro alone left me speechless and I am stil trying to pick up my jaw from the floor!!!
Gary is better off with Extreme.

The album with cherone wasn't accepted because a lot of people
refused to give it a chance. It was like people blamed him for the problems
going on with hagar. I still think it has some cool tunes that sounded good live.
Also this tour they did songs they hadn't done with hagar that were great to hear.
