  • everyone is looking for a 'fast' way toget 'ripped'... there is no way you can get that ripped fast. It takes dedication and mental strength to push yourself through every single rep you do. You have to be determined to get stronger. I lift eveyday not just 3 or 4 days a weak but everyday of the weak. for an hour to two hours because i want it. i want to be there. and this goes with everything else in life. You have to be determined and want to be successful and success will come.

  • If you can't do pull ups try doing negatives where you basically jump on the bar and keep your chin above the bar as long as you can or some gyms have weight assisted pull up machines

  • The video and exercise is great in building muscle. A proper nutrition and efficient diet in order to loose fats. I do know a link of a site that helps you build and gain lean muscle and achieve the looks you ever wanted. Youtube won't allow me to post the link but I posted in on my profile.

  • @TheJoshii17 Yes dumbbells are better in the sense that they target more muscle fibers and they stimulate and work a whole lot more stabilizer muscles, thus providing you with more control and balance, and targeting/sculpting better. It's good to vary your days though, sometimes use the barbells, and sometimes (usually) use the dumbbells. I hope that answered your question. :)))

  • I very rarely can ever say this to anyone, but your form is impeccable. Seriously, I work in Ph Therapy and seldom do I see people put so much emphasis on form like you do, I wish everyone on YouTube who workouts could watch this vid and takes it's advice. Putting 120 lbs of weight on a curl bar and doing it wrong does you no good, but with good form, you will see and feel the results. Very well done video Brandon.

    But don't make that stop you, you will understand after the first few months.

  • @kaa3164 two years tops. if i had more discipline i'd make a video series to prove that :D but i'm sort of lazy! I've just quit smoking, and started working out (3 weeks now, working out twice a week) and well, i already see great results (132 lb --> 141 lb with about 2/3rd of that being muscle mass gain). So imagine working out 4-5 days a week with 6 meals a day (i eat a lot, but not on a strict diet)

    I eat too much, I build muscle but it don't show coz I'm getting fatter, eat too little and I'm burning my muscles. Hard to find that inbetween. My experience :) Great vids, keep it up.

    I'm currently weight training 3-4 days per week, and would like to get down to around 10% body fat. I'm 5'7, 175lbs, and around 18% bodyfat

  • @adil2552 in my case, i had to do cardio on an empty stomach. i used to eat before my 630am workouts and felt sick every time sometimes throwing up. i stopped eating before my a.m. workout and it completely went away. although i do drink lots of water before (curbs the hunger and is essential) but thats just me

  • Hey man good vid.. I just want to ask you about consistency.. I tried this weight lifting before for a few months and I didn't notice any change in my body shape. I do have a multi gym but it's not very good and I use toolboxes for bicep curls. I'm 17 how long would it take for me to get ripped and would I have to do it every day?

  • And the BOSU exercise he was trying to explain IS working your core (abs). The lateral rotations will hit the obliques very well and the ball raising up and down is using his retus abdominus and erector spinae muslces in his back, even though he is not flexing and extending his truck they are still being worked by fighting the bending motion, although it is more shoulder oriented, the mere balance aspect of the exercise makes it core stabilization.

  • hey Brandon, in your other videos you tell us to make 10-12 reps, shouldn't you make less reps if you want to gain muscles fast, or will they still come fast by making more reps?

  • @Speraful Higher reps for muscle gain/lower reps for strength gains. Burn outs help to gain new muscle as well.

  • @Speraful Muscle hypertrophy (building muscle fibers) is what you are talking about and you can build plenty of muscle in the 10-12 rep range, but I wouldn't go higher. Stay between 8-12 reps, make sure it's heavy and hit a failure set once in a while (doesn't have to be all the time).

  • Hey man, before I watched the video I've been doing something very similar to this. I have time on my hands and I have been doing, only problem is I'm not very consistent because somedays I will do something different and I won't do weights and H.I.I.T.. If I really wanna see results should I stay consistent and just do this everyday? I'm really trying to burn fat and I'm starting to get discouraged and I'm worried that this won't workout for me.
