  • Incredibly good graphics. Is the game finished?

  • this one looks fake

the other ones look more possible

  • it not that impressive.can anybody remember capture the flag on 800xl?

  • @RetroShinigami It probably could if it had more RAM. The Atari 8s packed up to 128k compared to the 7800, which only had 2k? Atariage is releasing an addon module that'll add more ram and two extra sound chips to the 7800.

  • Another demo that has people drooling over the possibilities of it becoming a full game. You can forget it, it will never be anything more than what you see here.

  • @lurkerrekrul wrong;)

  • @thorgallpl - All the updates I could find on the net are 6-12 months old. As far as I can see, it hasn't gotten much past the demo stage. What will almost certainly happen (if the project isn't dead already) is that it will get to an early beta stage before the author gets tired of working on it and gives up. Just like any one of a hundred other projects that will never see the light of day, like the huge new single-player campaign for the Windows version of Halo. Remember that one?

  • @lurkerrekrul wrong again;) last update was made 4 months ago;) anyways we all know that this game hasnt been being done for the money. Look at the space harrier project. it has been almost 8 years(as far as i remember) since the project was started. and guess what:the project is almost fully completed:) and he the atari version plays and looks great!these guys are fanatics.they still develop games for the 8bit atari (crownland, dr mario, gosts n goblins, just to name a few).

  • HmMMmM i wonder how it would be if a major company were to make a high graphic wolfenstein game, like REALY high graphic!

  • This is one thing, getting enemies with AI and the like is another all together though. Great work to date.

  • cool, but dancing barrels is just creepy a bit

  • Fullscreen I have a big problem making out what anything is, just blur of colours

  • @Lutanamo watch?v=ToIiWMf_XqU&feature=related

  • @Lutanamo Its because they was stretching and scrolling, not moving like you was turning. it is just a demo to show what can be displayed, not how the game will act.

  • excelente muchachos, sigan asi.... eso si que se llama ingeniera, meter el wolfenstein en un atari xe.

  • Capture the flag?

  • that scan lines make me sick ::P

  • This is astonishingly good. If it can be made into a working game, this could be an all-time classic, even in 2010.

  • It's Amazing...Keep up the good work

  • Oh my god that is just awesome, makes all the other doom clones on eight bit machines look a bit sad

  • felicidades ! a mi edad aun juego atari, ojala lo acaben ! suerte

  • wow.. when this game be released?

  • No esperaba menos de Nelson. :D

  • I hope this will endup in a full working game.

  • Have you been considering to make this game??? it would be revelation!

  • Awesome!

  • Impressive !
