it will work. for example the special edition eyeshadows that are not black like style warrior is gold you can switch it out with like stuff from the permanent line. they are all the same size.

you could also try when you finish a product in a cool case you could keep the container but throw away the finished makeup

did you know that mark products don't require that much work? the eye shadows and blushes come without the container but it has a magnetic backing. you can buy the container seperately and mix and match the eye shadows and blushes however you like.

the ONLY real place i know of cheaper mac is a CCO. its the cosmetics store at your local Outlet mall.

you used to be able to but not mac is cracking down on it. most of the time they will refuse it but you might get away with it if youre MUA is cool.

Warning warning warning, this doesn't work with Studio Fix Powder because of the way the compact is made (on hinges, with the extra under compartment for the sponge). That made me so sad, Im hoping someone comes up with a way to do those ones!
