True. Iam aware that BRILLIANT filmmakers can make worldclass films on shoestring budgets. The 1996 Malayalam film Kalapani (A Freedom Struggle movie) starring Mohanlal and Tabu was made on a budget of less than 5 Crores; but still it is one of the best and most technically brilliant films made on Indian screen.
But today situations have changed and the remunerations of stars are huge. Mahesh himself charges around 8 Crores per film. Then how cud Puri make pokiri on a shoestring budget?

But the filming was classy; and not like Trivikram's mass masala crap. Fools called Athadu a technically brilliant film juz because of the climax fight scene which was copied from Anniyan and Matrix. Gunasekhar is totally of a different class.. But he isn't getting his storylines right offlately.

All songs in this film are far better and classy than Orange, eventhough there is a heavy Dilse influence all over this album.
Gunasekhar and Mahesh have succeeded in extracted in right sound from Harris...
And regarding the picturisation of this song..There is a Mani Ratnam touch at some places!
