  • Fuck yeah these WERE THE REAL WOMEN

  • funny these models acually had some meat on there bones not like the walking sticks we have now!!! These models would be considered "plus size" now!!

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • It is so fascinating watching how far back we can look with photo taken pictures, amazing what a piece of history we can see and imagine in our minds, as well as learning from, and being aware of how it was before our times. :-) I think Classy looks are a lot more beautiful&much more nicer w/a natural look than how the fashion&looks are based on in our times now.I sometimes think the way looks are based on/made like today is more cheap and seducive, whilst there were more purity in those times.

  • Beautiful !

  • 2.34 is my favourite

  • They're all ugly huh.

  • Hi, I have a late Edwardian Era fashion question. I'm having my portrait taken as a Gibson Girl, and the dress I'm wearing has short, leg o' mutton style sleeves; a plunging sweetheart neckline, and a very long train. My question is, would it be period- appropriate to wear opera gloves that match my gown? (The dress I'm wearing is very 1890's in style.)

  • I'm glad I live now... They're way to skinny for me, their wastes are like 12-15 inches around. They rearranged their organs and bones JUST to look good. It probably hurt just to breath.

  • Beautiful thanks for sharing !

  • Renè Aubry..c'est toujour un plaisir...

  • seems like these oppressed women without jobs were still able to dress well?Hmmm, maybe the feminists are wrong.lets see the men from the same era.

  • I compiled a video of old CDVs from c. 1870-1910. The video is called Old Burnley People 2.

  • I wish we could still dress like this :[

    so classy.

  • @sexcrzyfuck we can!! Be neo victorian and people will look at you like "what the f*ck?!" haha, it's fun x}

  • @sexcrzyfuck So what's stopping you? I actually use a lot of vintage pieces and vintage replicas, including decent corsets. You can do it without looking like a freak. Find your own style and use some old fashioned inspiration. Victorian Trading Company would be a good place to start for tea dresses etc. No law says that you have to dress like everyone else. God forbid! :-)

  • @sexcrzyfuck I have a friend that does!

  • Thank you for putting this together.

  • 00:33....i wonder who she was? she was hot!

  • I wish I lived in that era...
