i think me and you would probably be good friends if we knew each other for real. dime will always be a legend. the day he got killed, my friend mike called me and told me what happened. i sat down and cried for 20 minutes and i put in cfh and jammed cemetary gates in his honor. he will always have a place in my heart. a big place. i only wish i could have met him
if you would have met the idol, he'd have treated you like you'd been friends for years. that's how he made me feel. i partied with him quite a bit during the end of pantera/start of damageplan. to say i was fortunate is the biggest understatement ever. he let me hear the damageplan cd BEFORE it had vocals mixed on it. we played air guitar to it in vinnie's livingroom. enough bragging. he was great, you would have loved him from the start.

I live in Milwaukee and I wonder where this interview was taped. He was one of the greatest guitarists ever and I totally dig what he's sayin' about Dean guitars! I got an '81 Z that is the greatest playing, sounding, looking guitar I've ever played, and I've played many. The neck is incredible! The tour manager got hurt as well.
