Actually - ever try stopping a food processor? I am a lot more scared of electric than gas - gas stalls out when you put an object in it. Electric motors can jam, but they will keep trying to go until either the blade cuts through or the motor burns out. :)
See most gas clubs say that electric doesnt have a scale sound. A gasser is not a scale sound thats 2 stroke. This electric Mustang has reciprocating sound right here. This could save a club in trouble with noise they know who they are. As you can see its not so bad this one performs.
Agreed! 2 stroke engines DO NOT sound like the "real thing". I am in the process of converting this P-51 to electric. I hope to put a sound system in this as well...then we can hear a "real" merlin engine....LOL! BTW - our club has a high percent of electrics - many of are flown by "gasser" pilots. We love em all....
Agreed! A 2 Stroke glow engine does not sound like the real deal. I am actually converting the 'stang to electric right now. Then I am putting in an MP3 sound system to see if we can get a "real" Merlin Engine sound. :)
Its not you its most. The motor interferes with learning so thats why you see so many crashes. There is a way to learn true flight but most wont try it.
supertigers are not what they were 25 years ago theyre made in china now and have to be run real rich just so it wont flame out after takeoff, they make better paperweights

Does anyone else wanna call too lean on the high end?? Hmmm?? Yeah, texasfathead already called it. Still, sounded lean from the get-go.
