I am sure it was very exciting riding there, but looking through 10 minutes at back of front rider is really boring. for watcher of video. I expected more fascinating shots. Sorry for mistakes if there are some - I am not native English.
What a cool trail. Riding there, you're soooo lucky. About the video, haven't you try a motion stabilizer stuff, I know there is one in after effect, seems to work good. ( /watch?v=9i1iJgesPbQ ) Maybe you should try, but don't really know how it works, haven't done video editing for years :) :) Anyway, cool vid. And also, is it really expensive to make such a ride? Ciao
@Wisper714 sounds intresting video it when you do it don't worry the falls only about 50 meters if you fall if you dont pick up speed that is. if you fall with speed its only about a 10,000 feet to fall. remember base camp is at 17,589 feet or 5364 meters.
Thinking about doing this next year, altitude is a concern in relation to heart rate oxegen consumptionand power to weight ration in thin atmosphere. I race mountain bikes and have travelled around the world doing it, but nothing compares to this.

This is the ultimate regardless of what retards think...you can't get much more ultimate than the Himalayas...you might get more insane trails but they're just hills, this is the greatest mountain range this planet has (not counting under sea mountains of course)
Lame totally lame. There r much more intense and technical XC trails in my neighborhood that I ride everyday. Doesnt take any skill to ride that trail. I mean seriously thats definately not ultimate.
downhill well it was a hill i will give you that but not the ultimate downhill sorry and also made feel sick as the camera was bobing everywhere try helmet mounting it guys
that looks awsome! i'm going riding in the himalayas and this is exactly the kind of trails i hope to find. i can really appreciate how lucky it is to find such a long, continuous downhill piece of singletrack like that. where exactly is this trail? how did you fid it? what is the trail normally used for (ie why is it there)?
thats kool hey i dont kno where you live but if you live close to alabama we have a mountain called cheehaw yes alabama is a small state but theres great stuff about it
most of the coments didnt ask you how to stand from the thin air... it will make you headache since the air pressure only 0.6 bar. You guys are outstanding!! i've been there just for a sightseeing and cant stand for the headache...
That's barely even singletrack. It's like riding the fireroad to my local trails. You'd love the Andes. Sierra Nevada Venezuela. Around Merida. Super-gnar compared to this. Loads of drops on trails with deep holes/gullys carved by water in the cloudforest. Steeper mountains too. Cheaper also! More wildlife - hummingbirds, hornbills, parrots and shiznit. Loads of other stuff in Ven too. Los Llanos. Amazonas. Caribbean beaches...
idk this is a great veiw and it goes on for ever but it makes me apriatate my trails more they have a lot of turns and good downhill parts dont get me wrong i would love to bike there but it makes me realize my trails arent half bad
@bikeoki 'real downhilling' is an actual sport. It's called downhill and it utilizes special downhill bikes, trails gear and techniques. This is a video of riding down a hill. Not downhilling if that makes any sense. Just search downhill in the url and you'll find some legit stuff.
Could do with some big doubles and tables on there like.....seems like a bit of a waste to me....get the old sherpa's up there with some spades and wheel barrows
I know up near whistler, BC Canada has some good runs. Mostly out west in america is where all the good downhilling is. I know there are some fun ones in Arizona, California, and Utah. Right around that area you're gonna find a ton. There is also some fun ones in Colorado.
u know whqt i highly sujest, to La Paz, Bolivia. do the biking trial of Los Yungas, r als know coroico trial, it is amazing, u start of in a place where there is snow and there is nothing there, its an altiplanic area, and in a certain place it changes to a very dense rain forest , amost jungle. ps. that road is also known as the most dangerous road in the world :P
blue mountain in collingwood, ontario has lift accessible dh trails.... lots of ski resorts operate in the summer and have dh bike trails.... just search 'dh biking blue mountain' on youtube
there was potential for this to be a speedy track. And your right it does look like an amazing oppurtunity butt going a bit faster wouldnt have hurt :P, plus the exhilaration of bolting down it.
i thought this was an awesome video and these people talking bad about the camera work obviously have never ridden a bike on anything other than a paved road. i am just now gettin into downhill MTB and i would love to take that trip! that ride would be so relaxing it seems!!!!
