However in the larger scheme of Divine providence by which Christ is, has, and will continue His championship within the hearts and minds of billions of Christians throughout the world, you seem to conveniently gloss over.

I don't believe in any of this, but it's always fascinating to listen to Chopra talk. He combines a lot of basic knowledge and science in his spirituality--all spirituality, no matter where it's from. He explores language and personal reactions. A very curious fellow. How can people be so hateful? He just wants to explore and offer up his version of spirituality to make people happy. Oh well. I'll stick to atheism.

Read first what I wrote earlier. Then read this. It is sad to me why so many just accept on faith that Jesus was a real character. How many have really done their home work to see if this belief has any real evidence to support it? In my opinion, after some research, Dr Chopra's views about Jesus and the messages written in the gospels are among the only ones that make sense and bring enlightenment to Christianity. Thank you. Those who take Jesus literally might as well believe in Zues.

Not enough evidence supports the idea that Jesus of Nazareth was a real historical character. The gospels were written long after the events supposedly took place. No Historians of the day wrote news of a man doing the things attributed to Jesus. The writing in Josephus has been proven a forgery from 300AD. I agree with the Third Jesus being a state of consciousness. Having said that, is there a need to even have the First Jesus as part of our universal equation? Since everything that IS is a part of the universe (God, unified field of information), then why should we even differentiate between the physical being of Jesus (First) and the third one?
