  • FUCKKKK WHALES. their scary as fuck

  • how do you know if your getting close or not

  • EPIC

  • i wish the whale smacked his tail and fliped there freakin boat!

  • after shitting in my pants i would have jumped in the water and fucked that thing in the blowhole...no joke

  • "A(n) 80 feet(foot) Blue Whale almost crashing" yeah...it turned right in front of you. Because they are so agile. Right out there with "the cow jumped in front of the truck officer". Clueless.

  • How lucky can you be....amazing

  • once again I have to say that you are so stupid

  • retarded guys, must be americans

  • @EastCH god people seem jealous

  • @ilpd2001 A typical answer of an american. The behaviour in the film is as dumb as sarah palin and all the tea party fuckers are. And your god should learn the americans appropriate behaviour. And I am not jealous, in no way.

  • @EastCH lol everyone is such an expert on us somehow.. i really hope people like you on the internet dont represent your people accurately because all you do is run around saying how much hate america spreads and we think we are better than everyone blah blah blah but the main ppl that fit that description are you ignorant hypocrites trying to piss ppl off.

  • WOW! u saw it mist

  • when you see it you'll shit bricks

  • You could have injured that innocent whale by getting so close. That's not fair for him/her.

  • @Sherpaful that motherfucker is 200 tons, aint no 1/2 ton boat gonna hurt him.

  • On the one hand, this must've been one of your greatest moments ever. These creatures are one of the most unique ones ever excisted...

On the other hand... Very dangerous, people, very dangerous. Such a huge animal, even though it wouldn't deliberately hurt you, just doesn't know its own strength and could've swamped you guys over in no time.

Plus I think they need their peace and quiet.

  • Just a baby whale....and what dickheads for getting so close!

  • Jerks like this really piss me off.

  • yo i dont know much about wales but would a wale kill human??

  • @vinceperez158 an orca-whale could and eventually would... its a predator, but the most whales just eat krill (its called plankton in english i think), millions of little crabs that are swimming towards their mouths

  • @vinceperez158 you could easily be killed by accident.

  • @kenfo0 na i thought like sallow like pinokeo

  • They wouldn't have been laughing if the whale had chosen to bring it's fluke out of the water. If that had happen the idiots would've drank a lot of water.

  • me and my dad were kyaking and a whale whent right under us my kyak floated above the water for a second and we had to hold on to a near bye boat. it was so scary but so awesome at the same time.

  • Really should have stayed 100 feet away which is required by law.

Only researchers have permits to go that close. The whale could have easily scratched your boat and hurt himself.

  • Dude....that actually scared the shit out of me haha Great footage! Bricks were shat.

  • so close! :D cool.

  • omg this whale does not give two shits about the boat or the people, so stop defending it like its a 3 year old who fell down and cried for attention, jeez ppl behind screens make me sick.

  • You ppl are idiots. Ohhh yaaa they sure were hunting that whale.

  • y r u guys getting so mad lol its not like they harpooned it...they were lucky to have seen this up close..who woulddnt approach an amazing animal like this..

  • u guys almost win an opportunity to be part of failblog

  • i wish that whale would of surfaced underneath you and destroyed the lot of you

  • Did you at least have the courtesy to turn off the engines?

  • Moronic fools who have no intelligence chasing down Earth's most intelligent creatures. What else is new? Goofy morons "wow" is all they know.........sad dorks.

  • @batshytmonitor how are blue whales more intelligent than humans....?

  • haha the other whale was staying 100 metres away he didnt want to break the law lol

  • The people are fine, the whale is fine, stop being argumentative lol besides whales are smart they know about international law it was infact the whale who was breaking the law and not just the humans!!!

  • Why doesnt everyone shut the F up.Yeaaaaa they were close, and guess what? They would have learned there lesson the very difficult way.Why is everyone trying to act like mom and dad and start bitching at them.100 meters?Realllyyyy. Then alot of people on this website should go to jail.Gimme a break.Everyone needs to stop being hypocritical little whiners.Boo hoo.Cry me a river.

  • @ajstewie8 stop bitching!

  • u crazy mother fuckers actually tried to stand in the way of a blue whale

  • Holy shit, my heart was pumping for you guys- seriously damn you guys are lucky.. for a lot of things!

  • Just so you know that whale could have killed everyone on that boat with a flick of that tail. Think about that power. That huge animals tail not to mention it's gargantuan body.

  • I would be angry with the person piloting the boat for putting my life, and the others, in danger.

    That was immensely S-T-U-P-I-D.

  • Cool

  • I think you people have a death wish.

  • holy shit that was close

  • Idiots !! .... it happens to be illegal to get so close to a whale in the way you did. It's one thing to allow a whale to approach you, whilst remaining stationary but what you did is completely irresponsible. Best stay out of the water eh?? better for you, better for them !!!

  • I get scared when i see videos of whales crashing into the sea even though i thought this video was not much scary because it was going into the boat that was not funny they can get seriously injured and people are harming them with boats people should stay away from them.

  • @marya1234567890 then your a wimp

  • yo homeboys, stop pissing em off

  • Please... Post in Hi-Def !!!

    Is cool.

Weird that slowing way down actually put them closer, in even more danger of being struck... But, thanks for stopping, like you did! - O___O

    Great footage.

  • To Be honest I would get closer to see Blue whales .Fuck the Laws i have no intention Of hurting them It would be a Blessing just to get close to such animals. Now About The Jap thing. Not all Japanese People Eat Whales Most of the whale meat Is Sold outside Japan! So Fuck you assholes With Your Animal View Laws & And fuck you Zealous Activist Thinking EVery Japanese Person Eats whales.GodBless Whales

  • @MrRayquazaking Its not that youre going to hurt them on purpose, cause I'm sure you arent. Go onto orcasound hydrophone, and see how loud a boat engine is. The reason its called wildlife harassment is because the whales cannot resume normal duties the way they normally would. In our world, it would be like someone playing heavy metal music in a concert speaker right next to you when you were trying to eat or sleep. That's mostly why the laws are there.

• @royray217 thats the problem!!! laws!! not people

  • As cool as this video is, driving up to them wasn't the smartest idea. That's how accidents happen with boating propellers.

  • That is completely illegal. I'm, sorry, and it was amazing footage, but you cannot go that close to one.

  • Who cares you're not suppose to get close to blue whale those little guys don't mind.

  • Japs are retarded. Sorry...So many of them kill whales every year..Seems they dont know right from wrong.. ass holes..

  • @horsesoccergirl22 not every all of them :/ i do hate the ones that enjoy or are fine with the idea of killing whales like they do -.- thats just sad and cruel.

  • @horsesoccergirl22 Not all Japanese are like that >:( F*cking hippie.

  • totally brain less this idiots. I feel bad for the whales, they has to deal with this kind a idiot!, hope they dnt think the whole humans are like this people.

  • That's illegal

  • I once saw this documentuary where one jumped OVER the the boat. All the crew got drenched though.

  • @mastterby wow, do you know what the documentary was called? I wanna watch it :)

  • Close encounter? Sheesh. You can say that again!

  • I would have an accident in my swimsuit. LOL. Even though I love whales I would be so scared to be close to one. You are lucky for seeing this. I rated it 5 stars. Thank you. <3

  • Sharks are fish Wich means that a shark can't be whale if a whale Is a mammal.

  • omfg if i ever saw this thing near me id shit and whale sharks are called whale sharks because there sharks but there just huge! like a whale :D

  • @Dharokgreatax whalesharks arent dangerous..they eat krill

  • hell naw i would be shiting in my pants at

    :40 seconds to :48 seconds

  • Why are people insulting these people for driving up to it? I would rather be killed and see the most amazing animal the planet has to offer, than to live and see nothing at all.

I would have been tempted to jump in and swim with it!

  • life isn't about having incredible experiences.

it's about remaining as safe as possible at all times.

  • Well... we all see life differently. I would prefer to live a short and interesting one rather than a long and dull one

  • i was being sarcastic.

  • Thank god, I was genuinely worried for a second :) And I seem to have -2 for saying that :S

  • its not funny!!!

  • total retards

Are u completely thick enough to drive a boat up to the biggest mammal in the world, and watch it nearly capsize you, while you laugh??

    evidently.

  • Whales are generally very aware of the spaces around them unless some idiots drive over them with a boat. By the way, what you are doing is illegal. You are required by LAW to be at least 100 meters away from these animals. Wildlife harassment isnt funny at all. And what you did, could've injured you or the animals. Get a brain please.

  • I'm with you man, ppl have to respect these animals... don't get me wrong but that "by LAW" your talking about is in what country? it's not the same everywhere and no one is going to be put in jail for doing that in international waters for example, you can actually get away with almost anything in international waters, that's why the only guys after whalers and stuff are greenpeace and other organizations like that

  • @M4XC4V413R4 Point taken I guess. I just want this law to be the same everywhere. Think of it as people allowed to peep into your house or appartment with binoculars and watch everything you do. Pretty annoying isn't it? I'm not trying to offend people, but rather make them not selfish. We get the opportunity to see these beautiful animals, why not do it respectfully?

  • @showbrd You can't always help how close you are to these guys. They swim really fast and in a second they go from being far away and then suddenly you can see them swimming right underneath your boat and you just hope to god that it doesn't decide to swing it's tail at that moment.

  • @lauraleesmithagain I know that that happens, its the fact they purposely go too close to them. You can see the camera swing, so they turned the boat toward the animals.

  • @lauraleesmithagain those whale watching tours in mexico don't try to stay far away... they drive their boats as close as they can...

  • @lauraleesmithagain you think they didnt mean to haul ass up to the whales they saw from way off? Dont be so naive. This was evry intentional and showbrd has a very good point. leave these mother fuckers alone, dont you think mankind has done enough damage?

  • @lauraleesmithagain Amen to you honestly. I'm not trying to offend people, I'm thinking for the animals. The laws are there to make sure wildlife officials don't have to pick up any more boat strike carcasses. Like I said, granted that little boat doesnt probably do that much damage, but its the way you see them approaching them. They drive towards them, not to the side, to watch them safely.

  • @showbrd shut, up, lame, ass.

  • @showbrd are you stupid? the whale has way more control over itself than a boat does. the whale was coming towards them. its not like they were lurkin around the ocean chasing it. it just happened to happen.

  • @babiegiRlxooxo

just happened to happen? They were obviously trying to get closer to the whales (as the camera footage shows). I understand that. However, they put themselves in the direct path of the surfacing whale, which is absolutely illegal.

They should have done the right thing and admire the whales from afar. The risk of disturbing them or taking out a few chunks with the prop is inexcusable.

  • @babiegiRlxooxo They whales totally did not! Watch again, the boat TURNED towards the animals! And they were indeed chasing it. They got too close to it. They were supposed to cut engine a lonnnngg way from how close they got.

  • @showbrd really? you cant find better things to bitch about? I see no harrassment going on here, and i think that would be one of the coolest exp ever. so please spare the dick headed comment.

  • @MrsDreWGaLLoWay It's called harassment cause they got in their path, approached from the wrong angle, and interfered with their normal activities. that's why.

  • @showbrdYou can tell that they shut their engine off, i think they did what they should have done, they got a bad ass experience, no one got hurt, the whale didnt even give a fuck.I see no harrasment

  • @showbrd Point1,

Wildlife harrasment is funny, i can prove this as i have just been recorded on works CCTV laughing at it.

Point 2, How the fuck do you know what a whale is aware of?

Point 3, your brain is in no place to tell someone else's to go get one!

    :-)

  • @R6rYamaha

    1. That may be funny to you, but not others. I like how you speak for the majority or other people.

    2. People have researched animals, numbnuts. That involves doing tests, and other things to find out about them.

    3. I agree.

  • @KeithLikesTacos Majority of other people*

  • @KeithLikesTacos Respect for correcting your own grammar!

  • @R6rYamaha lolwut.

  • @KeithLikesTacos so they have studdied the Phyhce of a whale? I dont think so, we cant even do that with humans, reseach is good though! I do like speaking for the majority though your right, becasue i feel most people are too stupid to have a valid debateable oppinion so i take it upon myself to speak for them haha

  • @R6rYamaha Research isn't good in some cases like those japanese whaling ships who claim to do it for research. -._-.

  • @KeithLikesTacos If what they are doing to that whale benefits Human kind then im all for it.

  • @R6rYamaha It's not.

Like I said, they "say" it's for research, but without the whales why would there be a point in researching it? If it's just going to die?

These animals are on the bridge to extinction, and it's illegal.

  • @R6rYamaha neither is youtube you jack ass and its not funny it could kill you with its tail alone

  • @fartman465 your one of the stupid people who I speak for, you should be thanking me!

  • @R6rYamaha Dumb fuck they were meant to be 100 meters away from it not fucking 1 cm showbird is saying they done a very life risking thing so grow a brain

  • @borofalcon101 your missing the point, I don't care. Humans are the dominant species on this planet and we have the right to do what the fuck we want to do, whenever we want to do it Fuck the whale! P.s. I love whales!

  • @R6rYamaha Soory but that type of attitude can get you killed and I am being serious what if that whale did come up which it was trying to do but didn't notice the boat? Yep they would of been screwed and btw no you can't do whatever you want! Are you saying I can shoot you and it won't matter because I am allowed to do what I want? huh no so plz don't talk stupid!

  • @borofalcon101 OMG, listen, of course im not saying that, that would just be silly. What im trying to say without typing 10000000 words to make it baby clear for you is that....humans will always do research on other animals that will benefit us in some way (most of the time) and we (as in the human population) have the right to what we like (to these amimals) in order for us to better ourselves and survive! I am NOT saying go shoot someone, its not the same, you no its not. Happy?

  • @borofalcon101 (yes, your right in the fact the dumb twats got so close and if the whale had hit them with its tail then they would have been fucked and it would have been their own faults (very unlikely that any serious damage resulting in the collision of the whale and boat would have done any damage to the whale).

  • @R6rYamaha Well it shows how smart you are dosen't it? Dude the whales tail could of destroyed the boat on it's own. Those whale are so big you can get eaten by them and it wouldn't of noticed. By law you need to be at least 100 meters away for your own safety and the whale. The whale is the king of sea not humans and you can do research without getting that close and they weren't even researching they was being idiots testing their luck.

  • @borofalcon101 I tried explaining my points to you in baby talk, your simply not intelligent enough to continue this debate, I will not be replying to future messages.

  • @R6rYamaha Ur simply stupid

  • @R6rYamaha

Learn your facts silly. Go look at boat strike whales, pictures, and stats, then come and tell me this.

  • @showbrd Are you jealous at the fact these people saw one of the most magnificent creatures in the world? Granted getting in it's path is stupid, but by law? Who the fuck cares, no one cares about legal, but they should care about the whales well-being. Get the sand out you're vagina.

  • @cookiepfc1 its actually by law that you can't, its called wildlife harassment. If the whales came to them, they are supposed to cut the engine...Whales die every year from being struck by boats, so before you go saying how stupid I am, please think of the animals that get huge slices from props and die from getting hit by boats. Granted that little thing they are in doesnt probably do enough damage, but what's it going to take before someone realizes this?

  • @cookiepfc1

Staying at least 100 feet away is indeed required by law.

Ideally everyone loves those animals and be responsible enough to stay far, turn off the engine, etc.

But in a realistic world, law is the only way that would effectively protect the whales. And even with laws outstanding, the video poster still chose to disobey the law for their own fun, which could easily hurt the whale at 0:45.

  • Comment removed

  • @CaptainBuster you need a license to get close to these animals, they are an endangered species, get a brain

  • @stephielyn89 What makes you assume that the responsible guide did not have the permission required for the activity/occupation?

  • @showbrd oh give me a break

  • @ben242011 really? I think you are the one who should be giving ME a break. For heaven's sake, I'm looking out for that animal, and they aren't following the law. I'm not doing anything wrong. sorry.

Go look at boat strike whales on google images. THIS is why I wrote that.

  • @showbrd god i hate you PETA a-holes why don't you go hump your Llama or something douche bag

  • @christopherjames22 I have no affliation with PETA nor would I ever want to, they kill more dogs and cats than save, and I don't have a llama. Sorry to bust your bubble.

P.S. go look up boat strike whales. I dare you.

  • @showbrd and with that mentality mate is why everything is fucked up....The problem with cats and dogs is humans. IRRISPONSIBLE human who can't get their pets desexed and are having litter after litter. Its the same people who are breeding at 16 and by 25 have 5 kids all living off tax payers dollars.

P.S. Is there anywhere i can look up where a boat hits you!!!

  • I can imagine the wale saying bloody tourist can't you see i'm coming, left hand driving fool, ave ya ever heard tjhe word yield???!!!!!

  • stupid tourists, never cross a whales path. Read books before a whale gives you a lesson for free

  • I would have been shiting bricks!!!

  • I can't believe they're all laughing. One flip of the tail and they could be ground meat!! Cool video though!

  • Basically you guys are foolish as hell. You went in the path of a whale while it was surfacing. It would have been so easy for it to have come up again, (seeing as you were directly over its path). If that had happened the boat would have, at best capsized, at worst the propeller would have hit the whale and it would have thrashed, probably shattering the boat and everyone in it into pieces. Basically, you could have easily died.

  • wow you are so lucky! Blue whales are so fast and also extremely shy, to see one at all is a once in a lifetime experience, let alone see one that close!

  • i wuld've died lol looks funn but i wuld never do it.. and seriouslyy..i mean.. they're out there in a little raft..lik..... seriously!? :)

  • Oh man...just think if it tipped the boat. Everyone would of been squid food. Sea of Cortez: Home of the Humbolt squid.

  • scaryyy

  • not a blue whale

  • if its not a blue whale wat is it (not ryin to sound mean but wat wuld it b?

  • lucky you!

  • i wud b shiting my pants :L:L

    scary but cool

  • go green

  • stupids bitches

  • Just imagine, there used to be a 60ft long shark that hunted them.

  • could still be, they found a great white shark, at 3 meters, bitten in half!

needless to say the beach was closed

  • when did they find this ???

  • I would of shitted on myself

  • Exactly what I was gonna say haha

  • Wow!!! what a beautiful animal.

  • omg...beautifull

  • Comment removed

  • omg cool

  • this is what happens when stupid people drive boats... the whale could of been seriously harmed

  • Hard to tell but from the profile I think that may be a Fin Whale- they are closely related, though! Either way...parking your boat above an animal that probably weighs in excess of 80 tons (that one looks to be 'only' around the 70 foot mark) is not exactly a nobel prize worthy idea, know what I mean?

  • i wudnt be laffing , that could of been death

  • animals dont try to kill humans dude, its the other way around.

  • very true, although with something that big, i dont think it would even notice if it crushed a human on accident lol

    way cool video
