how did you have more then 4 people and if not please tell me how you got that somehow got it so it would SEEM like it?

Well this episode features 4 main characters and the extra one for Rafe's other form. It was just a matter of editing that allowed us to do that. We shoot with the one character and then quit out and start the match over again with the 4 we need to finish the scene. You could also do it with 3 Xboxes connect through a LAN line.

It's the Hamster Wheel Theme song. I made it using Soundtrack which is a music loop program that comes with Final Cut Express

In Timesplitters you can have no gun but a little bit of arm will still be showing so that is covered up by the widescreen bar

Why isn't this more popular?! It honestly should be. I'm a huge RVB fan, but I don't think this is a 'knock-off'. Two Xboxes. One as the "camera". One for the actors. The "camera" Xbox goes into a digital camera through a S-video feed. Capture the footage on the DV tape. Edit it, throw on the widescreen bars to hid the HUD and the 1st person hand and there you go.

Yep they're linked using system link. One only has one player and you use that one as the camera. The other one or ones are all the actors that act out the scene in front of the camera. We'll be making a behind the scenes video later this season that shows our process.

The name of the show is just a play on As the World Turns, the soap opera. The name of the episode is about how oblivious Julie is.

You cant call every machinima a RvB rip off. Besides the fact that they used a game to make funny machinima videos, There really are no major similarities. They dont even any Halo games or quote any lines from RvB.. So according to your logic EVERY SINGLE FUNNY MACHINIMA VIDEO USING A GAME is a rip off of RvB. Which is obiviuosly false!

I didn't call every machinima a RvB rip off, just this one, and I might have gone too far calling it a knock off. I just felt a lack of origionality in the videos, and, yes, there are similarities between this and RvB. For example, in this video there is a character with a southern accent who beats up on and threatens another character, just like what Sarge does to Grif in RvB.

During the two seasons I watched of RvB, I don't remember Sarge ever beating Grif. I know he enjoyed his suffering but never out and out beat him. Also, we are trying to tell a story and not every line needs to be a joke. But point taken. I do appreciate you giving the show a chance. It's not for everyone.

We made them using Timesplitters 3 (Future Perfect). It's pretty easy to do really. It is all in game footage. If you play around with it you will see. The secret to the characters "talking" without weapons is have them holding mines.

In order to make something like this? No. You can use a capture card but that is what we are using right now. Do we need one in general? Sure, can't hurt to have one more.
