But the e63 is a jackhammer...its engine is a monster (both the old 6.2 and the upcoming 5.5 biturbo engine). Also in my opinion the merc has a more tasteful interior (the m5 is just dull inside), and it looks absolutely menacing. Put it this way: m5 is a kind of a sports car....e63 is a full on muscle car. Its precision tool vs a jackhammer

The C63 AMG BS and the M3 GTS have about the same performance. Being just 2 seconds faster on the Nurburgring doesn't say about anything, since they weren't driven by the same driver. But as for the acceleration, the C63 AMG BS doesn't stand a chance against the M3 GTS.

0-100kmh: C63 AMG BS 4.2 seconds, M3 GTS 3.8 seconds. So don't make unsound comments.

The C63 AMG BS has 510hp, and the M3 GTS about 450hp. But the M3 GTS is lighter as well which makes the difference.

For your information, the C63 AMG BS have also ran 3.8 seconds 0-100 km/h. It also has a faster quarter mile time. And it is cheaper. It would also be logical to assume it would pull away at higher speed due to more torque and horsepower.

I would say the C63 AMG BS outperform the M3 GTS. Don't get me wrong, I like BMW but it is time for the 3-series to step down now.
