Same here. When people see you they criticize you and tell you all the negatives. Like seriously it's your life your body and You will do whatever you want with it. They already had their lives and were probably miserable and they want to take their anger out on them.

I got my septum pierced when I was 16 and I had some reactions similar to the ones you described at first. By a few months later though, my parents completely stopped noticing I even had it and would get mad at strangers when they were rude about it. Be patient. The people who love you aren't going to stop over something so small. I now have 10 piercings (3 on my face!) and my parents still love me and support me. It looks fabulous on you!

People need to stop complaining about what other people do. It just annoys me. I cut off my hair recenty, mostly because it was so long that it was too high maintenance, and I wanted to simplify. I donated it of course, but I started to get sick of every single person asking me if I donated my hair. OF COURSE I donated it,. What was I going to do, stuff a pillow with it and sleep on it??? lol, it's no one's business what I do with it, and same with your nose!! :)

I got my belly button pierced. I'm 13 and got it when I was 12. Lmfao, my mom even said when I'm 13 I can get snake bites. Also when I'm 14 I can get a industrial ear piercing. I got it with my mom there and it was 20 dollars with a discount because the piercer has been piercing my sister since she was 14 and is now 20. Soo.. She still goes there and as do we. That's how people were when I got my boobs pierced (don't have them anymore healing problems) they would want to see them and when I refused to show them they would get mad and ask "well, why did you get them in the first place if you aren't going to show them?" I had my septum pierced but I ended taking it out after only a week because even though I have so many other things pierced for some reason this was the one that broke my mom's heart. I do plan on getting it done again real soon but I will just have to hide it from her. None of my other friends really liked it but it was my favorite. It looks great on you :)

the older you get the less you will care what people think and the true testiment to that will be when you don't feel the need to justify the decisions you make. There will be no explanations or saying how you're doing it for you and no one else. It will just be understood and that's it. You will also be ok with the negative reactions you get as well and they wouldn't faze you because with the good will come the bad and in the end who cares.
Thats like my tongue peircing. The clamps hurt more then the actual needle itself. AND my best friend and I did it spontanously too and her sister got her nose peirced.
DOOOOON'T touch it!!! I ended up getting my nose (nostril) piercing infected from touching it. And all I was doing was adjusting it because it was twisted...AND my hands were washed. I ended up having to take it out... let it heal... then pierce it AGAIN. There is nothing worse than having to re-pierce something.... ok, there are things that are worse... but it still stinks. lol It looks super cute on you, definitely going to take getting used to on my part lol. I had my septum pierced but I ended taking it out after only a week because even though I have so many other things pierced for some reason this was the one that broke my mom's heart. I do plan on getting it done again real soon but I will just have to hide it from her. None of my other friends really liked it but it was my favorite. It looks great on you :)

i've had mine pierced for like 3 years :D i still remember the feeling, like cutting cheese haha at least for me, i no longer wear it out because i have another facial piercing but you made me fall in love again btw that type of jewelry is a septum retainer :D

Ce percing là a plus de raison d'être, si tu le veux vraiment, que les personnes pleine de percings dans la face. I LOVE IT!!! I am actually gonna get mine soonish...i have my tongue pierced, and snakebites. I totally agree with you. Its my body and everyone else can shut it. My grandma hates it. Christmas is going to be interesting. I love bright colored eyeshadow too. I love expressing myself. I wore blue lipstick the other day and didn't care what people said. I;m sure you're a great mother. Your appearance doesn't say whether or not your a good parents. Kudos!

I also have a Septum piercing and I love it. Almost all of my friends say that my septum looks ridiculous and stupid, but i always tell them as you already said, I did it for me. Not for you, not for my parents, just for me. and I'm so happy with it.

the older you get the less you will care what people think and the true testiment to that will be when you don't feel the need to justify the decisions you make. There will be no explanations or saying how you're doing it for you and no one else. It will just be understood and that's it. You will also be ok with the negative reactions you get as well and they wouldn't faze you because with the good will come the bad and in the end who cares.

Thats like my tongue peircing. The clamps hurt more then the actual needle itself. AND my best friend and I did it spontanously too and her sister got her nose peirced.

DOOOOON'T touch it!!! I ended up getting my nose (nostril) piercing infected from touching it. And all I was doing was adjusting it because it was twisted...AND my hands were washed. I ended up having to take it out... let it heal... then pierce it AGAIN. There is nothing worse than having to re-pierce something.... ok, there are things that are worse... but it still stinks. lol It looks super cute on you, definitely going to take getting used to on my part lol. Keep being you!!
