@MisterEzyway unfortunately this is the only version of this show circulating that I know of. If you know of a better copy, please let me know. I would love an upgrade of this as well. According to the original ripper those skips are a result of his software being unable to cope with glitches on his vhs copy. I tend to believe that because I have a Zappa dvd that does the same thing for the same reasons.

@BognarRegis - All good mate... didn't care about the quality mself, was more for my friends who don't know fishbone, who would watch it and maybe switch off in the first 20 secs bcos of the quality..

After a couple of minutes, u don't notice anyway cos the performance takes over... Thanks 4 the explanation and the post.. Tis the only footage of that song live that I know of, and the quality doesn't take away from the fact that its fuking awesome... :b

They lost a lot of depth in their songwriting when Kendall Jones and Chrs Dowd left. Truth and Soul, Reality, and GAMAB is arguably the best three album stretch in pop music history next to the Beatles or Zeppelin --they are THAT good.

It's more like,...it's sad to see the rest of the world not becoming hip to what they have and are still doing. Yeah, the line-up is different, but they STILL rock. I should know...I still film them when I can here in LA/Venice area. They deserve to be in the Rock n Roll house of fame cuz they did what they where doing before the RHCP, LIving Colour, 24-7 Spyz, Kings X, etc. Fishbone IS RED HOT.

Amen brother. I too live in LA and am plenty old enough to remember da Bone during their heyday in the 80s/90s. I saw 'em in Dec 08 in Pomona and while the crowds they play to aren't as huge as back in the day, the shows they put on are still fantastic.

Anyone who ain't seen 'em or wishes to see them again, DO IT. Over the last 4 years or so, I've taken several people w/ me who have never even heard of the almighty Bone, but so far every single one of 'em came away saying it was a GREAT show.

Thanks for the heads up. De La is playing Coachella this year and I'm excited to be there since I've never seen 'em live. Do they still play material from 3 Feet High and Rising or De La Soul is Dead? I bought those both right when they came out back in the day and was just bumping the latter in my ride earlier tonight =D
