I have the X1 and these panals are great, not only do they all have their individual uses but they are good for totally converting the look of your phone for those times when you just get bored looking at the same screen.
regarding the fish panel, the fishes actually act in different ways depending on your phone status, IE if you have an unread text message an extra fish will appear, there are also lots of new panals available from SE website,
I think it's great. If the one thing making it difficult for you to choose between the Sony X1 and the HTC Touch HD, or Pro or Diamond, is the panel interface of the X1, then this solves that problem.
I like the X1 and the Pro, I need a new phone and I am torn between them. I am leaning towards the Pro (I presume if it will work on the HD, it will work on the Pro) but I do like the panel concept. If there is a realistic way of getting panels on the Pro, then the choice for me is clear.
Besides, as far as I can see, the X1 touch screen is resistive (based on pressure), whereas the screen on the HD/Pro/Diamond is capacitive (based on conductivity).
Resistive screens are ok for many things like Sat-Navs etc but the quality of a capacitive screen as seen in the iPhone and the HTC phones cannot be matched. They are more responsive and require a much lighter touch.
If the panels work on one of these phones, I would be bold enough to say it could be even better than on the X1...
deffinitly get the touch pro have it and i have no regrets if your on att get teh fuze i find the row of symbols much more helpfull than the number. fi you need to know anything else let me know i have about a gazillion phones
If you go to At&t website. It is $300 up front. Because I have an exclusive Dealership account with At&t I still have some left over from Black Friday that were specially priced. I have 20 left.
I can get you a brand new HTC Touch Pro aka (At&t Fuze) for $250
$150 after rebeate. So I could save you a lot of money. We didn't sell a whole lot in our small town cause a lot people here are old fashion. But if your a techy person this is a sweet phone.
panels on experia suck? you've clearly never had an X1 or bothered to fine tune the panals to suit what you need. thats what they are for, and...my finding is..they dont suck, they are actually the most useful tools on any handset available.
does it have wifi to connect to ur router???

The iPhone has a little fish tank as well called koipond. And it does the exact same features, the nibbling and the pushing around.

maybe its useless but it's a step to new possibilities -
have you ever changed your Windows look/ theme? Or personolized things to your needs ?
> now think of customizing your mobile phone !! with much more then just changing the wallpaper

OK... I've done a bit more research and the Touch Pro actually may have a resistive screen after all. But still a nice concept to have panels on it.

However, i must comment that the idea was good

Looks greast. Slightly off topic - but how would one sync from iTunes with the Touch HD, possible / not?
siksik6 3 years ago
why would you need that?
0cton 3 years ago
Because I use iTunes for my music management...
siksik6 3 years ago
can't you copy manually?
0cton 3 years ago
Yes, of course I CAN. Doesn't mean I necessarily want to though.
Just asking if it's possible to sync rather than copy straight over, that's all.
siksik6 3 years ago
nothing is impossible
just put it this way:
Is it worth the try?
unlike most mobile phones and mp3 players, pda's ussualy are not presented as a simple memory card, but as another computer to the OS almost
0cton 3 years ago
actually you can simply pick between using it as a memory card, using active sync or internet sharing when you plug it in.
