Lost time. No dynamic range. This might sound boring, but you may want to try developing more interesting rhythms at excruciatingly slow tempos - with a metronome, then slowly raising those tempos. Try lower volumes and listening more. Try different time signatures. These kinds of tricks can raise proficiency faster than anything else. Keep schlumping and schlopping and your most productive learning years will evaporate before you know it.

An excellent example of talent with no discipline or direction. There is a big difference between freestyle drumming (ie. Rich, Palmer) and just banging and making noise. Thats' not to say you aren't talented. You just need to it give more focused direction thats' all. I think you'll do very well if you decide to pursue it to whatever end you chose.
