You should read the book it's fucking intense. I can't wait until the movie comes out. It's a Dystopian novel about how the government wants to control the people, and so they make the kids go fight and kill each other. The beauty contest part is for them to get sponsors to give them stuff to help them win in the Hunger Games.

I think the trailer was great for people who read the books and love them. I've watched it about 30 times, but I am easily excited. I think its sad how so many trailers now a days don't actually show whats going on.

The trailer should have been to draw people in who hadn't read the book, because the people who are in love with the series are going to see it regardless.

Just for the record Daily grace you didn't have to review. I'm the biggest hunger games fan ever, read all the books but the movie is not coming well for those of us who are purists. My friends didn't get the trailer either but I didn't bother to explain. I won't do free PR job for the studio, if they want people to understand they should make another trailer.
