  • Fantastic story, very good game...amiga music is very nice and also PC is no so bad

  • True story, I got this game in 1992 and only got to play it one night. As it was time for me to go to bed, I hardbooted my machine off instead of doing system shutdown. The next morning hoping to continue this game, it somehow crashed and I was never ever able to recover the game. I dont really know what happened, but this was before WIN 95 so trying to find out was a hassle.

18 years later and I still remember that day!

  • What? No fistfight music? That was my favorite theme from the game.

  • Hah! The font used in the credits for titles and names takes me right back to Monkey Island, don't'cha know? :D

  • Fate of Atlantis to me is up there as being one of the best games ever created of all time. Not just because it's an Indy game but because it's one of greatest point and click adventure games of it time.

  • Everything about LucasArts is just PERFECT. My personal favourite song is at 6:50

I specially like this game best

  • we had do delete almost 50% of the harddisk to get it runing ... good old times ...

  • Fate of Atlantis will always be the greatest game ever, let alone the greatest game lucasarts ever made.

They should have scrapped Crystal Skulls and made Atlantis into the new movie.

  • I'll do it. You're crazy.

But really, to each his own. Personally, I always loved the cartoony style they sported in Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max and Full Throttle. Those still look great to me today, even in 320x240 res.

  • You're insane mate! :D

Garudoh lists three of the best there.

  • Was my favorite game back in the day.

  • Man, this game brings back so many memories.

  • does anyone know where i can find the soundtrack to where Indy leaves on the hot air balloon and tries to land on the submarine?

  • If you're referring to the track I think you are, it's part of the fight theme in the talkie version. You could probably find a MIDI or rip of it somewhere on the internet.

  • They should've taken this script and make it into the fourth sequel. It's win-win for the game and film.

  • god i loved that game!

  • that game was better than the movies...

  • @Esuvassos Especially the last one

  • What soundcard was used to make this recording?

  • maybe Amiga, doesnt sound like the OPL or MIDI music PCs had back then, but its been a while :)

  • Doesn't sound like legacy stuff to me -- I think it's ripped to MIDI and remixed with modern hardware (ScummVM can do that on the fly)

  • I loved this game on the Amiga. Pitty I can't find it anymore D:

  • google : abandonware amiga fate of atlantis

  • I managed to get inside Atlantis, where you're making the little orichalcum balls...but couldn't get past that..

Man, was that a long time ago.

  • one of my favorite games

  • It's people like YOU that YouTube was made for. :P Nice post. :3 Keep them going.

  • Great vid keep em coming
