  • Can i use a high output Led instead of a 200 MW Triple Infrared Led?

  • did you make a circuit diagram by any chance?

  • Question, what would be the difference between using LED IR bulbs from ebay and making a rgeen flashlight out of red and blue colored filters? Same? or is it different?

  • @stephencarlsbad You'd probably get a brighter light from IR Bulbs/LED. Both will work

  • i dont mean to be a dick but can you show us how to build it instead of show us which part goes where?

  • So basically just a flashlight on a camera..

  • @NewDubstepNow No, because you cant see the light. Only by looking through the camera can you see anything. Its IR LED!

  • you are one smart motherfucker

  • where did u get the infrared leds? ive been looking for some

  • can we use green or any other color led bulps?!

  • @kingmaker121 I guess if you want a green flashlight. Infrared LED are not visible to the human eye. Only cameras can see them. So for Night Vision you'd only want to use Infrared LED

  • @GreekGadgetGuru can you post a link to a good 10 ohm resistor

  • You talk so slow man I want to kill myself.

  • you talking too much asshole.

  • no offence but you look asian in the video but since im also asian it dosen't matter

  • is thare any way to keep them from seeing it?

  • i hafe to build one for my us army alpha black paintball gun

  • i think u can put variable resistor so u can adjust the led brightness

  • @iqbal4142 a transducer off a volume control knob would work.

  • Hey, I have a question. Are you studying engineering, or is this just a hobby that you've learned from?

I've always wanted to be able to build things, but I'm not as good with hardware as I am with software.

  • You'r a real genius

  • R.I.P headphone users

  • Thumbs up if you think Radio Shack has everything overpriced :O!

  • AJJAJA one camera and one flashlight yeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • thats not an infra red night vision, that just an simple light for ur camera u stupit fucks!

  • @rellik6904 how are you even going to say that, do you know what infared even is its a light that we cant see but some digital electronics can no one without the camera can see the light

p.s. you spelled stupid wrong, good job.

  • @rellik6904 The light is not visible to the human eye, it's only visible to cheap cameras that haven't got a good enough IR filter.

    Who's stupid now?

  • I just found my self in the awesome part of youtube.

  • haha sweet im using this for scenario

  • I gotta say, looks somewhat bootleg but still very usable. I'm quite tempted to get that view finder just because of how it works. I'm not gonna remove my IR filter from my camera. Its very compact. My first reaction was like WTF, then it was like thats ingenious.

  • nvm...

  • how far does this see?

  • @c0rnholio6669 50 ft.

  • exellent! i like it! :p

  • could you tell me, what kind led bulbs you use? infrared led? what word i should type in to search on e bayor other web-store?

  • Dear Santa....

  • awesome! i made one for airsoft cus i arsoft at night all the time and i OWN!!!!

  • @MetalWolfAirsoft Haha nice! I'm glad you found this useful :D

  • @MetalWolfAirsoft Make a picatinny mount for it, put it on your gun. That way you can use the focus crosshair on the camera as an actual crosshair, and be able to take it off during the day.

  • Can I use an iPhone for this? Does it pick up infra red?

  • @redefyne No I wish! I was thinking about doing this with old cheap cellphone but never got around to it.

  • @GreekGadgetGuru You can modify a DSLR to pick up infra red, if image quality is an issue.

  • @redefyne goes, must have to expand the ir block, is difficult, however, but goes.

  • At some point , i became convinced thet krazy glue is your sponsor

  • Excellent stuff, I like the way you think ;-). try a piece of black tube placed in between the IR leds to fit right down to the camera lens to stop the light shining back into the camera :-)

  • that night vision was cool but needs more detail

  • Thats called gluing a flash light to a camera !

  • Pretty sweet set there. I'm working on a NVG that uses an old CRT viewfinder. It's nice because I'm hooking it up to my GoPro head mount and I can flip it away from my eye when I don't want to look through it.

  • you slow like a tortoise!... fuck you

  • wait on ebay it says $19 so how many are in that, is there only on so its like $19 each

  • @T0MASS1 The part where it says 20x means 20 of the listed LEDs which puts them at 95 cents each per every $19.00 pack of 20

  • awesome

  • Pretty good nightvision mate! :)

But it's a very bad idea / construction fault, that the LEDs are showing up on the image of the camera! And your light source shouldn't be able to directly illuminate the camera either. Both thing f*cks up more or less the image you see in the viewfinder or the images you take.

  • 8:23 holy shit! a fucking ghost!!!

  • very nice. now does the camera still operate as it should, by that I mean does it still capture quality stills?

  • Are you really greek?

    elinAS?

  • @xLRsT Born in America with a Greek parents :)

  • @GreekGadgetGuru well then your american :)

  • @GreekGadgetGuru so if you wired this in series you would need a more high powered battery?

  • @lxnader42 LEDs use barely any energy, hence the resistor for the 9V. doing it in parallel is much easier cuz with LEDs there one side is anode, the other is cathode....thats one thing he left out to mention in this video....if you reverse polarize and LED (light emmiting diode) it will become a LDD (light DETECTING Diode)....which how i thought he was building this in the first place but his version is a lot less complicated

  • a torch works just as good but you dont look like a dork using it

  • @trigger32nz you clearly have no idea how infrared light works.

  • you should remove the IR filter in front of the CMOS or CCD sensor ... (it's a blue colored film usually), hence you would gain a lot more sensibility at night ...

    see ya ! :)

  • pretty awsome mann

  • GreekGadgetGuru, this is from Alexander you have caught the eye of many of our kind. We would advise you to use your specialties to be what we would call a watcher. We protect areas from terror. We will find you unless you do your part. You did not receive this message. Your armor and weaponry are slighlty more advanced than my creations of the electric-bomb. You have weapons you have thought power.

  • Why not remove the cameras IR filter?

  • Thats freakin amazing... Wish i had the time and money to make it

  • are you can see stars in the sky by it???

  • better then kipkay

  • @abelandrepina97 nothing is better than kipkay

  • what's the zice of the LEDs(8mm,10mm) and what's the angle 15,30,45,60 degree that you are using in this proyect?.................very interesting

  • make a homemade airsoft :D cus yunno its something thats legal so we're actually allowed to build it

  • dude i want won of your stuff u rock later

  • you make to much p[ubliciti on krazy glue !!do y0u tink I have in romania krazy glu??pleaze speed up!!

  • is the View finder compulsory to put on......

  • You're greek? Shouldn't you be spending your time and money paying back your debt to your German Masrters instead of playing games or taking siesta all day long? FUCKING GREASEBALL LOSER!

  • can u make a solideye of solid snake?

  • put some pvc tube inside the ring of LEDs so they're not visible thu the camers...

  • very nice VID.

    but eeuhm

    IR lights aren't LEDs

  • its not stealthy. people will see the leads.

  • @12togo34 Dude, It's called science and human eyes.

Unless someone else is suing the same technology they can not see ir light. It's impossible to do with human eyes. And your gonna have the scope to your face so people won't see the light from the camera display either.

    It is too stealthy.

  • you are better then kipkay :)

  • Is there a way to make it appear green in the screen?

  • what is the scope thing called?

    Bram.

  • wow that light blinded me

  • I admire your efforts but why not use a flash bar and make a neat little box with the infrared diodes seperate and mount that with a hot shoe mount to the bar. As you didn't remove the cameras internal filter the same result is achieved and you still have a nice looking camera.

  • some day ill be smart enough to built this cool gadget

  • alright who do u work 4

  • hey i got a question: did you removed the IR filter from the camera or does it have night vision.???

  • when you turned on the leds, did you yourself see the light

  • @brdane If you stare directly into the LED you can see a faint red, but it was still completely pitch black from my view. The IR light can't be seen by human eyes, only with the use of a camera where the IR filter has been removed. Some camera's have Night Shot mode which allows you to see the IR. Those are more expensive

  • @GreekGadgetGuru yeah todays cameras can pick up IR. even phone cameras too.

  • @GreekGadgetGuru so has your camera's IR filter been removed?

  • how much was the camera?

  • u made a torch! nice...

  • right on .. i am looking around for a good and easy home made gieger counter for radiation

  • FANTASTIC!

  • Baaad Aaaaasss my friend!!!!!!!

I'm going to direct many of my subscribers to your channel for advice because the night vision i use for my UFO research is too expensive for most people and they really want to get into "Night Vision UFO Sky Watching"...!!!

  • @sphericalwjr08800 Thanks : ) I read your story, that's pretty interesting stuff!

  • cool i like the video um where do i get a view finder like that to add on a camera and how is the wiring is done on the led s

  • @bluejay148 Thanks, you can find them online along with the special LED on sites like eBay and Amazon. The LED are wired in parallel.

  • How much is the camera...if it's like 20 to 30 bucks that's fine

  • @jinxmike It depends if its used or brand new. Most digital camera prices are getting cheaper because cell phone's are getting more advanced and with better cameras. So camera companies are lowering prices on less professional cameras to compete with cell phones.

  • @GreekGadgetGuru you should make a lot of this stuff , plus id totaly buy it too

  • Good thing your not in the closet good on you for coming out of it hahah im just joking

  • Hey dude can you make a airsoft claymore?

  • Holy crap dude you have potential I made a air powered film canister launcher but nothing like the stuff you've built. I'm a huge fan! :) can you make a diagram to show the led circuit you built?

  • @FxEffects2010 Possibly, I wish I could just add a picture to the current video. Its actually very simple.

  • this is one of the things i really want to make, i play manhunt a lot, and sometimes we do it with airsoft too, this would help in both situations, maybe even mounth it up on my airsoft gun for a scope :D

  • damm dude your a genius

  • Can you make a crossbow? a really good one?

  • is the camera u used infrared or is it just a normal camera?

  • @CaptJerico Normal camera with the IR filter extracted. Its pretty simple on this camera model.

  • @GreekGadgetGuru would it still work if i do not extract the IR filter?

  • @CaptJerico Unfortunately no, the IR filter has to be removed. Sorry. You'd be surprised how cheap a decent digital camera is these days. Especially if its used.

  • Wicked

  • Sounds risky

  • @Ge0RgEzTeR92 Dude that's really nice of you, I appreciate it : )

  • that is cool

  • Dude I'm telling you sighn up and apply for youtube you need to be paid for the videos you put up lbs

  • For your next project you should make a flamethrower you wear as a glove because another guy made one and your way better than him so it would be awesome

  • I was thinking about making the Shishkabob from Fall Out 3

  • >:) cool

  • dude sweeeet

  • Thats pretty sick dude!

  • sick! i wish you had more subs you deserve them

  • COOL :D

  • love it, love all your stuff :D

  • Awesome
