this is a great tutorial.

another thing i learned in clutch situations is that diddy's gun can be used for recovery. when di'ing, you can point gun AWAY from the stage and the recoil helps you get closer.

keep in mind to use this BEFORE side b, and your up b.

the problem whit brawl are the moves prioritys , the mods are bringing wavedash and "z-cancel" back but inclusive whit that nothing is going to change the modders got to fix the kill/moves prioritys on all the chars to get a more equaled roster you know i love smash series but cause the tourneys are just , MK,snake, G&W, DDD so thats kinda boring you know the first tourney of my city i won 2nd whit fox(first place luigi) XD

It's actually called the DACUS (dash attack cancelled up smash. Dash, dash attack, and then quickly Upsmash. It's also called buffering.

I'm sorry but I just don't see how neither this video not the first one shows anyone how to be a pro at Diddy Kong. It explains what moves and techniques he has, but that is just scratching at the surface of how to be a "pro" with any character. I would recommend going into combos and strategies/tactics. That would be VERY helpful. Maybe even strategies against certain characters. Anyway, that's just how I feel.

Right, I totally agree, but I think it would be more useful if it would go a little more in depth. For example, during what situations should you use certain techniques. Like, "you should use this when being cornered into the edge," or "this is useful versus heavyweight characters" or "these 2 techniques combo really well to rack up damage."

Simply do Forward B and dont do anything afterwards. Diddy will "grab" his opponent when they are at the right distance. Then, you can press A for a 15% attack, while jumping a little backwards or push the Jump-Button to jump on the opponent's head(10%). This is usefull for edgeguardung as u can see in the 1st video "How to be a Pro with Diddy Kong"

Don't press B again just wait and he will grab the opponent. Then you can either press B or A to hit the opponent or press up to jump high distances.

The DLX thing wasn't correct, it was just that diddy's dash was complete and short which was why you can do it in quick succesion. Try with snake, then you'll see results.

The snap cancel was surprising, it's not that much of a trick but it's really is great for mindgames. I didn't know that you can hold down and cancel the ledge grabbing, I thought that it only worked for falling and fast falling... Nice.

I usually do Dash to USmash too. But lately I do Dash to 3 Utilts. It juggles them for a while if they have low enough damage. Then you pretty much have them frustrated and cornered.

lol thats funny but i use the c stick sometimes whill using diddy. it helps alot for those quick unexpected smashes after you say dodge your enemys smash attack which leaves a split secound to do a really fast smash atack. besides that i just do smashes normaly
