thank you. seems to me to be a no brainer. why everyone insists on fluorescent and CFL bulbs of death with RF and all the other refuse is beyond me. just frying civilization in the emf oven. they aren't even efficient if you take the manufacturing costs into account. way more per Kw hour than even incandescents. id take incandescent IR waste over fluorescent any day. thank you for being sane and reasonable. these services are invaluable and under, freaking rated.
@bait28 That is incorrect. There is Mercury content in ALL fluorescent lamps as well as other HID lamps. (lightingdesignlab. com/articles/mercury_in_fl/mercurycfl.htm)
I have been reviewing Edison socket bulbs for my 6000 subscribers. I would be happy to review any of your products. Question with the T8 bulbs relates to heat generation. I have noticed huge heat-sinks on Lemnis and Sylvania led bulbs.
@wepollock We aren't sure of the Lemnis or Sylvania lamps that you're referring to, but if they are similar to our own line of screw in LED replacement lamps, there is heavy heat sinking below the LED/lens to provide the proper thermal management on that style of lamp.
@wepollock Thermal management is required on ALL LED lighting products. Depending on the LED Chip configuration, drive current and other design parameters, various levels of heat sinking will be required to provide sustainable light output that is acceptable in the marketplace.
