I tell you why..there're many thousands of people like me living in Cambodia, our great grand parents came down from Isan region, back then these territories were part of Thailand, in the ancient time were Khmer's, then after WW2 the French redrawn the borders and we ended up on Cambodia side. Thai government considered us as ethnic Thai but Cambodian nationality, pa-sa Thai poot wa," Thai thok klaang." But when we fled to Thailand during Khmer Rouge era Thai govnmt sent many of us back to die.

Many of my relatives died when Thai soldiers forced them down Kao Pravihan, the soldiers hit them with rifle butts.....forced them to go down the cliff at the bottom was full of landmines. Thai soldiers knew of the mine fields but their intention was to kill us. We speak the same language as those soldiers they might even be our relatives separated by only the border. Our Thai brothers forsaken us! now you know why when I said pan din Thai ting us.

For those of us that made throught the mine fields were saved by the Vietnamese soldiers waiting for us on the Cambodian side of the border. Without the Viet's help my aunt wouldn't make it, she was wounded from shrapnels. Many thanks to the Vietnamese soldiers! without them most of us wouldnt make it.
