q onda carnal, este juego fue el primero de jugar de mi infancia,se me habia olvidado el nombre y fue bueno encontrarlo de nuevo, tengo una lap de windows 7,si lo descargo no funcionaria verdad?
i wish the controls of all flight simulators were like that of f29 (especially the direction and turning keys), because the controls of games like flight simulator, etc. are too complicated on the keyboard, and not everyone likes to use a joystick or gamepad
Hey, I remember playing this game! I finally figured out how to land but I accidentally landed on an enemy airfield. So they terminated my service record because I "defected."
The music is cool though. Wonder if I can find it somewhere online.
I used to spend HOURS playing "Zulu Alert" in F29. Not until Ace Combat 4 did anything come close (basically, you vs. 30+ enemy jets, and unlimited missiles).
Ahhh. My VERY first flight simulator. I have fond memories of this game and TFX, another flight-sim by Ocean. In fact I still play TFX from time to time.
By the way, does F29 Retal ends in nuclear war? I remember after the final mission, the screen shows a mushroom cloud in Moscow, and a line of caption saying "The war is won, but the world is lost". And you can no longer continue with that profile.
You need to make sure you keep your gear up whilst flying above about 300 knots or it gets destroyed - the indicator turns red on the panel. You can only land on green or yellow gear status.
pffffff.... qué nostalgia joder. Dios te bendiga por subir ésto. Horas, HORAS, y jugando dos jugadores mediante cable serie, con unos retrasos que te cagas... cómo disfrutábamos.
I remember i used to just take off, shoot every plane and building I came over, then either crash trying some fancy moves close to buildings, or just run out of fuel mid-air, because i didnt know how 2 land :P ( I was 8 or something tho)
@Taeket 8400 baud! LIGHTNING FAST! Did you ever play the text based games on local BBS sites such as Legend of the Red Dragon and Barren Realms Elite? I used to love that crap.
Good Landing. I always had a hard time landing the damn thing. Eventually I did manage to land it. Great game. You can play this game against eachother on a network. That's very cool.
My God, it's F-29! I played that as a kid when I knew no word English and more or less had to guess what the tasks in the missions were...brings back great memories!
I spent an unhealthy amount of time on this game when I was young. Landing was difficult, but I loved trying so much that I eventually could do it about 60-70% of the time.
landing in this game was freakin crazy and hard, but I learnt how to do it. I was playing it two days ago on my old 486 :D but I couldnt land ;P FUCK ! :D
I remember playing it on my 486. I dind't know english then, so it was hard to understand what I have to do. I have never landed :( Maybe now I'll try to do it.

Buf.
that f-22 should be the vastly advanced(and even more expensive)proposed naval version, if I remember correctly. It never got out of the drawing board.
Oh yeah. THIS is a game I played ALOT. I loved this game and played for hours on my dads cool supercomputer, a 25 mhz PC with 85MB HDD and he later added 2MB RAM and in 1995 even a Soundblaster compatible soundboard. That was the stuff back then. As for the game I loved it though at first I had a little trouble getting off the ground. lol I usually just pressed 6 which, if I remember correctly, was "Scramble". It brings back memories though I last played it about 2 years ago or so.
Great game. It was my first game, when dad bought IBM PC 33mhz back in 1993 or 94. IMHO Pacific campaign is the best. To fisk0- i also recorded it on tape. The music is cool!
